Hi,

Why?
simply to have the possibility to send a clean signal to the monitor without amps, cabs, and effects.
why would you want to do that??????
I could only think of a scenario where you want to send an uncoloured signal to another amp (or a second KPA!)
Like a multiplier box for multiamp settings.
In this regard this could be actually useful.
I will explain in detail about what I would need:
In live i use a voice effect, which needs to be controlled by a clean guitar (without effects) to understand the scale you play and add the choirs, for this i use the exit "Direct Output / Git Analog " of the Kpa.For the same reason i need to tune the guitar very quickly, and the only way is to use a polytuner that recognizes with a single strum all strings of the guitar, but even this needs a clean sound of a guitar. So I need another clean output.
I understand that each of us needs different configuration, but I think they add the possibility to have the "Git Analog" also on the monitor channel is not a difficult thing, and I think that could allow other interesting configurations.
Ok, I see.
I use the TC Helicon Voicelive 2 myself. But I go Guitar >> Voicelive2 >> KPA.
I understand what you want though.
Could you not put the ploytuner before the voice effect? Never used a ploytuner but assume it would have a clean bypass.
Cheers,
jayson
I also have the "VoiceLive 2", I prefer to go, Guitar >> Kpa >> direct output >> VoiceLive 2, to avoid degrading, even if minimally, the sound of the guitar.
@ Ingolf
I'll explain, to control the "VoiceLive 2" this is the chain Guitar >> Kpa >> Direct output >> VoiceLive 2. As for the sound of the guitar: Guitar >> Kpa >> Main output etc..
I also have the "VoiceLive 2", I prefer to go, Guitar >> Kpa >> direct output >> VoiceLive 2, to avoid degrading, even if minimally, the sound of the guitar.
As the signal is slaved through and only entering the Voicelive2 for chord recognition there's no degrading.
I should look up the signal flow in the voicelive2 to check if there's actually a A/D conversion involved if you slave through, i think not.
But of course now I'm getting what you're up to.
I would love this feature so that I can record a DI signal via monitor out while being able to hear stereo out with effects.
EDIT- Or can I accomplish this with the direct out? nevermind
It is possible anyway.
Set Output Source of Monitor to Git Processing.
Done.

I would like Git Analog on the monitor output because the direct output can already be used by the effects loop.
This is actually my case.
Christoph, I understand Git Processing is different from Git Analog ? I mean it's not the original signal since there is an AD conversion taking place + the global noise gate effect.
Now, due to the internal schematic of the Kemper maybe it's not possible to send the original signal to that output ? It would be nice to have kemper staff clarify this.
