thanks for the answer, but if you can "restore" rigs you never had, they have to be there, somewhere? right?
although only 4K of size, rigs take place of RAM, bits and bytes? right? so all of the factory rigs are there all of the time, only hidden?
This is a guess, but I think the rigs are stored in the new 2.0 Kaos.bin , then the internal system procedure will transfer them from Kaos.bin file etheir directly , or by being tranfered to some kind of EEPROM where factory rigs are stored for future usage/restore (this eprom will resist to factory system reset).
First of all thanks for the impressive feature set!
What I like most about V2 is that in performance mode I can store different incarnations of the same rig with different FX settings.
This is GREAT and VERY WELL DONE!
That is NOT a true statement! Downgrade to 1.7 is blocked under very specific conditions only. Anyhow the latest release is 1.8.2, which could be downgraded to under all circumstances.
Sorry if I phrased this wrong I just wanted people to know that they can't go back to 1.7 so they don't run in to the dilemma I did the other day and panic like I did when I tried to downgrade

Have all of these profiles never been released before?
- added: Tuner Mode automatically activated while MIDI volume equals ‘0’.
- added: separate controller for Pitch pedal available in MIDI (control change #4) as well as for expression pedals directly connected
Cool!
Quote- changed: volume and Wah (and Pitch) can be flexibly assigned to each expression pedal directly connected
- added: Wah pedal can be shared to also control Pitch and/or volume (MIDI as well as directly connected expression pedals).
Does this mean if I only have 1 expression pedal I can set it up so that it normally controls volume but automatically changes to a wah or pitch pedal if a particular rig has that effect on?
Quote- added: Pure Tuning and Formant Shift parameter in several Pitch effects
What is Pure Tuning? The Formant Shift sounds very promising. I've been asking for tone control of pitch FX since the beginning!
Quote- fixed: Phaser sound anomaly
What anomaly?
Truly incredible stuff.

What anomaly?
Supposedly a sharp hiss with higher gain/volume rigs that have utilized the phaser.
Great news!!!!!
I'd like to know more about pure tuning

I have most if not all of those. Not sure if they are the exact same profiles, but the amps names look to be mostly from his first couple packs.
Supposedly a sharp hiss with higher gain/volume rigs that have utilized the phaser.
And with some weird noise on feedback-settings above 50%.
anyone check?
yes !!!! and it sounds much better now
Not better, it sounds like there is a low pass filter. I would like to have the choice.
By the way that's a good news, thanks for the good work.

Please do not make assumptions about sound changes unless you have proved it by an A/B comparison.

To those who have not updated yet:
Wait a few hours. We have just noticed that we have not included the very last DSP code that includes the fix for the Pitch Shifter clicking.
We'll have a new version up in a couple hours.

THANK YOU CK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you ask yourself how the new features work:
With every feature update we complete the Reference Manual by new chapters.
To make it easier for those who know the Profiler already, we also add these new chapters to our Addendum Manual in a chronological order. There you can see what's new in detail.
All these manuals are included in the ZIP for every fimware update.
Now that deserves a big thumbs up!
