anyone knows if the clickless 2.0 version promised by CK is downloadable?
I think it's still the same firmware that was there yesterday(2.0.0).
Funny enough i downloaded and installed it yesterday and i browsed quickly trough some profiles and i don't recall clicks and other strange noises(and i played the pitch profiles).
-
ok great. I was waiting for the announcement in the announcement section. guess they won't do any.
another question: I really don't want to get any more profiles. is there a way to just install the new firmware or anything else but the profiles?
-
just read the release notes but there is no mention of the clicks bugs...........

When i installed the firmware yesterday it only installed the firmware,if you want the new profiles either you download a new profile pack that's on the site or you go to the system menu and get the factory profiles(but if you do the last one you will put all the factory profiles on the kemper, don't do it if you don't want that).

Can I install just the stomp/reverb/delay etc presets without installing the rigs:)
No, the import of factory rigs will import all factory content (rigs and presets), which is currently not in your Browse pool. However the factory presets should be there anyhow, if you didn't manually delete any. Enclosed in the firmware download package is a reference list of all factory presets for Stomp/Effects/Delay/Reverb. So you can check if anything is missing. There should be 123 Stomp/Effect presets, 13 Delay presets, 14 Reverb presets, 7 Amp presets, 12 Cabinet presets, and 11 Stack presets .... plus those, that you might have created yourself.

8573 created on 06.10.2013In deed if you download 2.0.0 now you will find the latest 8573 version which should avoid such clicks.

got it!.........will report how it goes..............

first test with the pitch shifter: clicks are gone, silent as a breeze!!
besides I felt the system is somewhat faster in the tasks like saving, renaming, and so on

do you really need to go back to 1.7 before upgrading to 2.0? does it officially say this to men somewhere?

I went from 1.82 to 2.0 ... no problems. -
Hi!
I installed 2.0 beta before the Fix (newer SVN Release). Is there a way to start the upgrade between those versions manually? Because when I connect the USB Stick there is no update prompt?
-
Hi, gone through this thread but not sure:
can you update to 2.0 beta IF you have over 1000 rigs? Limit still there or not?
Thanxxx -

The KPA should recognize the newer build on your USB.
