So, how does 2 way communication work?

Hey,

I'm wondering how the 2 way communication works. Maybe some of you remember Heiko and my project with the Line6 FBV <-> MIDI Protocol translator.
While Heiko got preset name, stomp state etc to work - we have no idea how the hardware handshake (MIDI controller connected), Tap Tempo and Tuner works.
Can someone from Kemper help, or maybe someone who has a LF+ could post a short midi monitor log?
