Done my first gig tonight with the KPA and the UNO4Kemper and it was mind blowing. It was nice to have control of the whole KPA like turning stomps on and off and all so having the tuner on the pedal very happy user here. Definately worth every penny. Great work UNO and kemper team

Congratulation on the Premiere! Good to Here that this Long awaited setup functions flawless in Gig situation!

Yep did a gig on saturday with mine ..worked great .. one thing I would like clarifiying is ...once you've set the stomps to say stomp A stomp B Stomp D and Stomp X ...do they have to be set to that for all rigs ?? ( i'm in browser mode here NOT performance mode ??)

No, the stomp assignment is fix.
-
Hey Ingolf that's what ithought ..so once you've set them to whatever ..you can't have different assignments for other rigs so for instance Pedal 5 could be stomp A on one rig but Stomp X on another ??
-
Each stomp (as well as X and Mod slot) has a unique CC#. Each pedal, that can send a Midi-CC#, can control each stomp. Or in other words: The CC# is deciding, what you control, not the pedal itself.
-
The CC# are assigned to each pedel 6-10 on the FCB and these will be global for all rigs on the Kemper.
-
And what about Delay and Reverb?
-
assign
Delay and reverb to any switch 6-10 If that's what you're asking about -
UnO4Kemper is simply the best way to control KPA.
The FCB become the best KPA controller.
No need setting! Is plug n' play!
The tuner works very well, and pedals are always active!
It's the anticipation of the future KPA original controller.
Xavier is great!
I have solved all my problems.
Thank U very much indeed!

the assignments of the switches 6-10 are flexible but global. If these would be rig-specific, the floorboard (and by the way the user as well) would need to memorize up to 625 different settings (125 performances 5 slots each) and these would need to be administered in the floorboard - overall 3125 possible switch assignments!!! You can assign any supported MIDI Control Change number to any of the five switches globally e. g. Slot A, Slot D, Slot X, Delay, Tap Tempo or Tap Tempo, Slot D, Mod, Delay, Reverb. If you want to control Rotary Speed just for one particular song you could consider changing the switch assignment on the floorboard temporarily on the fly. It's that simple.
The pedals have fixed assignments to control volume and Wah. However since firmware 2.0.0 the Profiler supports leveraging the Wah pedal to control Pitch. You just need to set the associated flag in the System menu of the Profiler and if there is rig with Pedal Pitch and no Wah, the Wah pedal will automatically control pitch.

Am I correct in understanding this is JUST a firmware upgrade for those who have the Un0 chip already installed in their kemper?

You have to replace the CHIP.
-
It's another, custom- made UnO chip.
-
Sorry to be redundant, but I already have the original UnO mod chip in my FCB1010. To confirm, I have to replace it yet again, correct? And this new chip, with the proper configuration will allow my patches and stomps to be in sync when switching between rigs?

Got it! Thanks!!
