... I'm not really a Tubescreamer guy... IDEALLY, perhaps you would consider emulating one of the MOST Popular Overdrives - Earthquaker Devices PLUMES.
Plumes is a Tube Screamer circuit with a couple different bells and/or whistles though, right?

I have a similar issue... nothing works to eliminate or even mitigate it.

Great info to know... thx for the question
Be mindful of phasing issues when delaying one side. Further down the signal path (somewhere you may not be aware of) the non-delayed + delayed signals could be summed and introduce some unpleasant side effects. Yes, it does sound big when hard-panned L+R but i believe it’s important to maintain mono compatibility where possible.

Ich liebe meine Mission Engineering EP-1 KP, es ist toll für Wah und Pitch
GREAT!!!!! Thanks!
Now, I wonder about the 600w into the 200w Kabinet. Will I blow the speaker in the Kabinet?
Nope. Watch this...
If I purchase a Powerhead, can I run it without a speaker load (into an FRFR) without damage. I plan to get a Kabinet in a few weeks when available. But I would like to use the Powerhead right now. So, can this be done without harm?
You can turn the power amp section off, it's in the menus. Then just turn it on when you're ready... but to be honest, you don't actually have to turn it off... if it's not plugged in, it's inactive and won't be damaged. Good design by Kemper. I'm not sure about FRFR cabinets, that's a subject I haven't delved into yet.
I use EMGs and I'm an artist endorser, but I always have them in either HH or HS, so I've never had to deal with this question... I can ask my EMG rep though. It's a good question.
Cool! I was actually present at the studio in Sweden for a few days of the Ghost Reveries session, tracking the Opeth guys for another project in the B room. I'm sure I have pics of everything, but I'd have to take a deep dive into old hard drives to find them at this point.
I'm not sure if he has a pack dedicated to that amp, but the Michael Britt (MBritt) BE100 profiles are excellent. You may have to look for them inside his various packs, as they usually feature multiple amps (often with multiple profiles of each amp) that fit a certain category rather than being dedicated to a particular amp... the packs are very affordable though.
Wow! Great to see you here, James! I loved your work with Testament and own both of your solo CDs, which are marvelous! Eons ago we exchanged some emails about the gear you used and you were very gracious to share your thoughts and time with me. I truly appreciated it!
All, if you haven't heard James' cover of "Race with Devil On Spanish Highway" from Al DiMeola, you are doing your ears a grave disservice!
PS - NO time is a BAD time for Steely Dan! Go back, Jack, do it again!
great to hear from you Jeff, hope all is well in TX! Stay in touch
... I've just inserted a small washer to the wobbly end and now it's fine, sits on multiple surfaces solid unlike before...
Steely Dan... lots of Steely Dan
2011 Fender American Deluxe Strat... new to me at least
Here is my latest Guitar. It is a DIY Strat:
- Warmoth Body: Alder/Flame Maple
- Fender Neck: Roasted Maple
- Häussel Pick Ups
what bridge is that?
I'm think about some bigger rubber feet, maybe? Thanks in advance.
you'd probably still have the same issue, unless one of the feet that are currently on your Kemper Stage is not the right size... if it's any other issue though, you may need to check it on a known level surface and determine which foot doesn't quite reach the surface.... then add an appropriately sized washer under that foot.
All the best sorting it out, let us know how you get on
+1 on this one... would be great for me as well
