Yea.....I did write that and TO ME, there's nothing wrong with SC playing. I suppose we can split hairs all day.
In the end, you gotta go with what works for you......and avoid what doesn't.

I don't doubt the claim that SC changed their format. That said, I also don't concern myself with "stellar" audio quality from sites that cater to the general listening public.......mostly for free.
I speak for me only. I'm not an audiophile or a person who tweaks until the cows come home. I use sites like SC to upload and store DEMOS that are listenable and nothing more. If I REALLY wanted top shelf sound and production, I surely wouldn't be mixing and recording myself, then uploading it for consumption.
SC works for me as a place to "store" DEMOS. As a guitar hack ( and I am a hack player ), I'm perfectly fine with their playback. By your response, it appears you are not like me and need better quality.
Good to Go
Thank you !!!
Thank you all for the welcome and the words.
Journeyman player here who has been around a long time. Been on the fence, the last few years about owning a Kemper. Owned and then sold the usual, lesser priced suspects purely for economic reasons. Truth is, I didn't want to commit close to 2 grand for something I may or may not think was worth the price.
Well, I own one now for the last week and I could kick myself in the %$# for procrastinating. It doesn't matter that I'm a moderately skilled player who grinds out Instrumental Schlock Rock. At least NOW, I can offend listeners with some style.
Naturally, I expect to get better with it and achieve better results......but I gotta say I wish I pulled the trigger on this a long time ago......
Sounds good to me bro. There's nothing wrong with Soundcloud's playback. The average listener doesn't dissect what they're hearing like us. They either like the overall sound or they don't.
Your guitar sound is G2G.
