Lol...and a “Today’s Nightmare” name would fit right in there.

Headphone out is my favorite way to both record and run into my amp live.

thank you for those things! I think the performances were erased by the guy who sent the unit back. That’s prob where my issue begins. Ok...I’ll get started! Thanks again.

I've been using the Xvive u2 wireless for about 2 years and I really like the convenience. I use it all the time at home and live.
oooooh I like those!!!

I've had this thing for almost 8 months and I know just as much about it now as I did when I got it. I am PLAYING it a lot and have tons of profiles, but I don't wanna program it. Most units like an old Roland GP-8, my favorite, or Line 6 POD, come programmed right outta the box. All I want to do program my profiles so I can switch them with my foot while I am playing. Is there a video I can watch? All I want to do is program a profile on each number... 1 2 3 4 5 and then bank up or down and have a new set of 5 profiles where 1 2 3 4 5 are. Just like the old Roland GP-8 footsitch from like...the 80s. Surely the Kemper can do this? I'm wondering because I bought a new "Rebox" that someone had erased if I missed some obvious stuff.

so many great choices...thanks!

Hi guys, been using kemper since 2016, from powered head to stage
Recently I have brought it to gigs and found that the tuner seems to be inaccurate
I have compared it to polytune clip tuner and also the harmonics on the strings.
The situation is more serious with my martin D35 through stock pickup.
Any clues?
Spec:
Kemper Stage
OS 8.0.6
I love my Snark tuner...it’s all I ever use.

Lotsa great choices. Just wanna make sure the tone doesn't get affected. I've played a few cheap ones that sound like the guitar volume gets rolled off to around 7. Not fun. Thanks!

Well I'm in the market for a wireless but I've owned some that make the tone weird of my previous amps. Just wondering what wireless units people have used that keep the Kemper tone pure and true! Thanks.

Folks,
I'm sure that I could read a bunch of threads on this, but I figured that some wise Kemper elder would have the answer off the top of there head.
Here is question / scenario 1:
I'm at latest beta version on the KPA and rig manager (I believe that it updated just a couple of days ago).
I copied an older Friedman BE100 rig from one of Tim Owens famous friedman profiles. I'm running it with CABs off and through my 2X12 Friedman V30 real cab. I made a copy of the original profile. I then tweaked then used rig manager to change the delay and reverb.. for Delay i went with the Tape single preset and tweaked to taste. I'm not sure what I did for reverb.
Anyway, I made all of my changes and saved the profile over itself. I notice that the saved profile sounds odd to me.. so I turn the KPA off and shutdown Rig Manager. I reboot the KPA and then start Rig Manager. Now when I load up the copy of the Tim Owens BE profile (my copy) now the delay and reverb are back the original that I started with. What could be up with that?
Second Question:
I went ahead and started my tweaking session over.. pretty much doing the same as above. Finally get my Tape Delay to my liking.. then I swear that the sound of the delay started sounding kind of fake compared to what it started as. In scenario one I used the same delay and had a killer setting.. but i lost it... So back to this one. I removed the Grit from the delay.. i set the MS at about 460, feedback at 30ish.. and mix/volume at almost 50%. I removed Grit and also reduced flutter and jitter down to low values. The delay started sounding (this will sound stupid) but it sounded too wishy washy. But in a digital way. I also noticed this on some of MBrits profiles when I got the KPA a couple weeks ago.
With only using a tape delay and the legacy reverb is it possible that the Kemper is running out of memory???
By the way.. if any of you have a great delay and reverb preset made for killer 80's lead tones I'd appreciate you sharing the settings or giving me the preset.
Your help is much appreciated, Rshred1
you’re good! I’ve owned Kemper since last June and I’m too lazy to learn how to program it. I use my Stage purely as a sound module and control it from Rig Manager via my MacBook Pro. If my MacBook ever goes down, I’ll have to bypass the Kemper and play clean cause I have no idea how to program it except the two knobs...gain and volume. Lol...I’m having a great time playing it tho!

I run the headphone out stereo into my Apogee Duet. Perfect!

I bought a gently used Stage Profiler earlier this week. I'm really impressed, but I'm drowning in hundreds of rigs, effects and performances from the previous owner. Would I be best off to just wipe everything and reset it to factory settings, then start over by loading rigs and effects I actually want? If so, how do I perform a reset? I found some threads on resetting Kempers, but most of them relate to the original "toaster," not the Stage. Thanks.
Organize everything with Rig Manager and you wont have to. I did because the one I bought from AMS was a repack someone else sent back and it was wiped completely clean. In hindsight I wish i woulda spent the extra 100 bucks plus for the unopened box one. I think I would have a greater understanding of Kemper had I done that.

love the phaser here, great song too. I’ve heard it’s just an MXR Phase 90. Anyone know more about it and where to get this? Thanks

very nice! I love and want all DG profiles! When will you share?

TJ’s profiles are badass. EVH Brown and his new Slash pack are amazing.

I've never done the spdif. I just put a 1/8 to twin 1/4 female and ran into the instrument INs on the Apogee. But the way I'm doing it is really clean. I like it better than the XLR outs...tone seemed weird.

...I love it!! Just an FYI! Finally...great recording sound. Man this Kemper is a GEM! If only I would known in 2K10.

Burkhard, Texan...thank you gents.
