So what's the problem? I don't get it. Raise the volume on the kemper if you want it louder. Problem solved.
So why did they make an overdrive /dist vol ?
Of course i can raise the overall vol !
This was discussed a but when the new overdrives were added, but I don't know if anything ever came out of that. Check out the discussion in this thread 8.0.3.23702 Public Beta
CKemper talks about the how the volume works.
yes there is a moderator saying :
"
Yes!
While the AMP volume compensation for low gain settings is still in place, it is defeated for the volume knobs in effects placed before the AMP.
This allows for a familiar volume and boost/attenuation setting for distortion pedals.
Tell me what you think!
"
It seems like kemper have mooved away from that !
My problem is : i get no volumen rise even when the stomp vol is at max . Try it !
When you engage an overdrive in front of a "real amp" and turn the output pot of the overdrive pedal up you will normaly be able to hear a raise in the volumen. I am not able to achieve that with the kemper .It seems like when the kemper amp module detects a rise in input volumen it turns the output down.
I have never had a "real" amp with this behavior .
I have tryed to adjust clean sense and distortion sense with no luck .
Does anyboddy have a good idea/ fix.
Kind regards anders 90% happy with my Kemper Stage
Thank you Burkhard . I don't think the midi data.pdf at https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/5/User-Manuals#
is up to date ! ?
Where do you find info about the use of CC#80 ?
I can't find in the Kemper midi pdf !
Dear Alan . To get the effect i like , i would have to have a mix of maby 20% dry and 80% wet . When the chorus mix reads 100 % it sounds like the ratio actualy is 50/50 . And the lfo is a triangle and not a sinus . but thank you for your answer.
Dear Hoki Toki.
Thank you for the tip.
It is certainly an improvement (for me), but i still miss to be able to mix the full freq.range .
kind regards anders
Dear Kemper .
I do miss a vibrato dry/wet mix knob. To my expirience the vibrato effect gets more pronounced when you add a smal amount of dry signal .
And you can make beautiful chorus with a slow rate .

Hi, is it the four effect on/off buttons ?
Ok thank you for the answer .
I wish there was mode that could "save" the Effect buttons state as long you don't change the to another performence . It would make live situations more intuitive and reduce the need for specific rigs/performence for every song. You could have a basic setup with your favorite effects assigned to the effect buttons and quickly ad or remove them in a slot .
Ohh you are right , today the function is gone
I have had the Kemper stage for 4 weeks and been quite happy with it . But i have missed an autosave function for the effect buttons state .
But after update 7.5.4.19312B it remembers the state of the effect buttons, if i select an other rig ,as long i don't change performence .
This is perfect for me .
Is this intentionel ? I hope so .
Is there a way to turn autosave on when you are in in performence mode .
when i am connected to the profile manager (pc) it works as long i dont change to a new performence !
kind regards anders
