I'm still new too my Kemper Stage so I'm discovering new things nearly every day, as I plug along through this amazing machine.
But I just had to vent this here;
HOLY F***! The acoustic sim is PHENOMENAL!
Absolutely no more need to lug around an acoustic guitar for gigs!
Hell, i can even DO acoustic gigs with a Les Paul now...Sweet Mother of God!
Besides what I just said above, I'm speechless !

You can set it up in the Rig and not use a slot.
I am aware of that. But that's s not what im after. Thanks tho.

Hi Troy, if I recall correctly, when reading the owners manual, using a noise gate when profiling will not work properly…
I profile lots of high gain amplifiers and yes, the hiss is just part of the reality of an accurate profile of any given amplifier.
You can add a touch of noise gate to the profile after it is finished…
I adjusted the Noise Gate in the Kemper. That did the trick! Thank You!!!

Hi all,
I have assigned the Transpose effect to the tuner switch on my Stage. But in doing so, I had to place the Transpose effect in the "A" module.
Is there a way to assign the Transpose effect to a switch, without it taking up a module?
Thanks,
~Troy

Yeah, I do remember reading that in the manual too. I just thought I'd give it a try to see. And yeah, sure enough, it don't sound good. Lol
Anyway yeah, I kinda thought that maybe the case, to just have to deal with the hiss a try to dial it out afterwards.
Thanks SQUAREHEAD!

Sorry, duplicate post.
US store..been out for over 6 mos.. Thanks.
check Motorcityguitar.com. Their website shows they have them in stock. Free shipping and no tax either, if you live outside of Michigan
Good people. I use them often.
Cheers.
Hi all,
I've made some really good high gain profiles of my Sig X...but the profile also captures the "hiss" of the amp.
I've tried a noise gate in the loop of the amp, which does take care of the hiss, but then the profile comes out all wonky.
Other than lowering the gain (which seems counter productive to what I'm attempting to achieve), is there anything I can do to avoid capturing the amp hiss?
Thanks,
~Troy
welcome! I'm a Kemper noob in AZ too
motor city guitar has them in stock
Except having effects loop in the reference profile, any stomps, reverb or other effects have no influence on a new profile. If there is a change in sound, it is either a bug or you have overlooked something. You should contact support to work it out.
Thanks Ibot39. I ppreciate the suggestion but I'm not overly concerned as I add effects after I take the profile anyway. But it is something I will keep in mind if I run into any other issues down the road.

Interesting… When you turned off the delay and reverb in the resulting profile, what differences did you noticed?
It was much more clear. I didn't have to fine tune nearly as much. Less of the "blanket effect", if you will.
This was my maiden voyage with profiling an amp and made a discovery along the way.
This is probably in the manual and discussed here before but just in case...
It makes a WORLD of difference to make sure
all of the effects on the Kemper are turned off while profiling.
I made the mistake of leaving the delays and 'verbs on for my 1st 15 attempts before I figured this out.

For those who don't fully understand what I'm referring to:

These are what I'm talking about...but molded for the Kemper Stage.
How would you be able to use the knobs
If i "needed" to adjust the knobs, which I normally wouldn't, the cover would just lift off. It is just a cover, with no bottom. It is not a case.
I've emailed both Kemper and Decksaver.com about this and Decksaver suggested they would consider working on it for their next set of releases. The more people who get in touch and ask for it, the more likely it will happen. Drop them a line at [email protected]
Sweeeeeeet!!!! Thank you!!!!
"Welcome my son, welcome to the machine..." ?
Love me some Floyd!
I'm very new to my Kemper but I have found the "tube" parameters to be extremely helpful in this regard.
Sag, bottle shape and bias may help you get what you're after.

I haven't ordered one from here (yet) but they look nice:

Thanks for the suggestion.
However I'm looking for a transparent cover to just place over the top of the Stage to keep it protected while playing live and still be able to see and use the buttons.
Rather than just taping a piece of clear plastic over it, I am hoping to find a semi-rigid molded one, that I can just set over it....like the ones you see for PC keyboards that completely cover the keyboard but still allow you to push they keys.
