My favorites parts of your songs is the drum fill leading to the intro. I don't find it easy to do while keeping it unique to each new song. You do this very well.

I agree about the drum fills. You and Franjoe30 have got that part totally covered.

Is the reverse delay Kemper or a plugin?

Use TS <-> TS and see what happens.

Well done, nice clear stereo mix, in my opinion you achieved what you set out to do! Everything clear in it's place
Thanks deangersmith !

Just a guess but try using a reverse delay with a quick single repeat and turn the dry mix way down only allowing the wet reverse to be heard. I've never heard this song before but I think a reverse delay could work, or you have to do the reverse effect in a studio and use pre-recorded riff for live -- maybe that's what the artist did??

Nicely done! Keep on knocking them out
Thanks Per! I get all excited to post my latest work and then I go listen to all your new stuff and others songs then feel like poo-poo again.

I love how you showed how the guitar tone sounded out of the mix and then in it. It is such a major difference in how you would perceive the tone. It was something I struggled with at first thinking any good guitar tone I made alone would work in a mix only to get disappointed. I think all guitarist should learn that first because it will save them some tone-chasing time.
Thanks for posting!

I took some time off mixing to study some of my favorite bands mixes. I practiced when to engage effects and turn them off during a song. Before I would just leave effects mostly on the entire time. I did all mono single channel guitars with stereo effects - really like how that sounds. Lead guitar was vice versa. The bass panned right. I also gave the drums more ambience so they don't sound so dry in the mix. I tried to make sure every little nuance could be heard on this one and not get lost. Let me know how I did.
I should be getting back up to regular mixing speed after the Holidays. I see I got some forum catching up to do. Merry Christmas all!
