I have the stereo Mimiq too and it works best with two amps, however, I have the Eventide MicroPitch and there is nothing better for a single amp.

Great track & happy that you can grab the guitar again !
Slide is a great tool , I'd suggest a high action by placing a flat 2 mm piece of wood before fret 1 (after loosening the strings) , retune , no need to setup a guitar this way
I use tonebar instead of slide , much easier for me. I also use an ebow for attack while using slide , or fingers as MS said. Use long verbs & delay and it will sing
Thanks Renaud! I'll do at least one mix with slide for my new year.

Congratulations on the landmark BayouTexan ! You've come a long way in a short time
Slide is excellent to learn and very fun, the trouble is you'll almost certainly need to set up a guitar with very high action to get a good sustaining and clean sound from it, otherwise if you're like me and have as low an action as possible you'll just end up with a land of buzz. Thanks so much Per! I have moments where I feel like I've gone far and then some where I feel I am falling behind.
I have a guitar that I can afford to raise the action on for that purpose, and maybe do the sock trick too.

Stay with it Killer, might be a good time to learn some slide.
Thanks! I picked up two slides and gave it a go... a long way to go.

Well... sometimes the pictures are confusing. They all look like this to me...

600 WATTS (160 continuous) is "quiet"? I'm pretty sure I can fracture glass with mine.
I second that notion with your glass.

Trigger Finger surgery appears to be doing well so far. Doctor said I could practice 10 minutes per day, and then I go full practice in another week. I can almost close my finger all the way but it limps at about 12* from straight up. Still hurts and is still slightly swollen. I've been bored to death in the studio for the last 3 weeks but became a pro at making popcorn. I've also been watching countless youtube tutorials on guitar and mixing while being iced up.
Next week makes 5 years learning guitar. I am super hyped up about that. I had no clue all this would lead me to learning bass, drums, and mixing. It's been almost 3 years owning a Profiler which was one of the best things I ever bought. I think it's time I learn to be a serious player for the next milestone.
I was able to twiddle this mix with my short practices. Forgive my inconsistencies on the harmonic runs. Blame that damn limp finger. This has been my go-to warm-up riff for a while. Critique as usual. Thanks!

Rebuild is a very happy and upbeat tune. I say that because we are in serious dark times. Love the reverse delay effect. Tell me more about it.
I have big update coming today.

My line 6 gave out on me and I got some xvives that had dropouts. after watching this video I got 2 pairs of 40.00 Ammon. Done a|b tests with a cable and it’s good enough for me. YMMV

Compensate with pick attack or get a new pickup.

Love the Halloween theme! If you need a really creepy set, try the cemetaries in New Orleans just of of I-10. They are more than creepy!

By itself, I liked the first one the best. I am betting that won't sound as good in a mix as the last one though. The ones with more midrange are going to do better in a mix. Good metal tones though.
#1 could work and more so in a recorded mix as long as it's a single guitar. Once you start doubling then you need to cut the low end. I'd like to hear it in a mix myself.

How much does snake oil go for in the market today anyway? I might open a business.

Nice noodles and pork chops.

.... Some folks say they shape them, heat them, etc. ...
There is nothing wrong with doing so. Make the pick work for you. I shape mine too.

Does Wasabi give you access to all 4 channels on the stage? I'll have to check that.
I have the rackmount so only 2 channels for me.

80's hairband bang em up.
-
Cool two chord riffage. That's not easy to do since you put a hard limit on noodling options.

WASAPI works fine on Windows but you will struggle to get sample size below 140. Using a Motu driver and a Motu M4, I am able to go as low as 64. Using ASIO4All with Kemper USB, I can go as low as 128.
I would expect a dedicated Kemper driver to get me at least below 100.
