Sounds good Mats. I don't know the artist or song but your version makes that not matter.

I would like if Kemper named the new update the "Turbo version" just to mess with Fractal. I would hate to spend all that money on a Fractal only for them to tell you. "Hey we have an update and you have to buy a whole new unit".

I've dropped my main volume on desktop speakers to 70%. Main volume on my monitors are at 85%. I should be able to go up to 80% on both secondary volumes (the ones I actually use for volume control) without clipping on both sets. The desktop speakers are rated at 85watts so very nice for playback. JBL306's for monitors rated at 112watts. I have them A/B'd to my interface in the new studio which is really nice to reference back and forth.
Florets was really nice. I like the subtle keys on it.

Should've said before, any thoughts to improve the mix are always welcome.
I would prefer much more low end. Maybe notch boost the bass guitar around 50k and add a low end master boost from 20-40k The rest is good.

I went and lowered the master volume on my desktop speakers and the studio monitors to 60% full (I have secondary volumes I normally use). I was able to reduce all that clipping. Before I was hitting Red on my meters. Funny but this was the second song you did where I got so much clipping. All other songs and youtube music, etc had played fine at my previous levels.
I'm going to see how high I can get before the meters go in the red.

I always increase the rig volume on the clean profiles to about +6.0 db.

Kind of sounds like feedback to me. Almost like a short-circuit.

You can use other noise gates and stomp pedals in front of the Kemper if you like.

His delay in that first mix sounds like only about 30% mix or less with a very short feedback parameter (like an echo). Plus his dry is middle and wet is right channel. I am not hearing much chorus if any at all.

Nice bassline. But the track is clipping some on the arpeggiated riff then goes full blown speakers on the heavy guitars.
-
Nice tones on that ending too!

Frankly, with Liquid Profiling getting ready to release on the Kemper, there is no reason for me to look at anything else.

The little transition on Cadillac at 1:18 was sweet.

I see he takes the head sock fret wrap to a new level.

Try using a direct profile into a DAW then add a cab sim plugin. Some users like that option.
-
Your ears will know immediately if it's a Direct profile.

I don't know why you would need a smaller Stage. I think the original is small enough. I appreciate the photoshop work though.

I almost got a new guitar today. I was just $20,000 - $40,000 short. You can totally forget the Gibson lineup. I'd rather have a new Corvette. Dallas Guitar Festival.
Still waiting for my 'significantly less' G&L Tele to come in. It's been 7 months so far.

Upbeat and jazzy. Just waiting for the Sax guy. I like the drum intro. Don't mind me stealing it from you.

How do you route this board with the Kemper? Everything pre? Can you loop the Kemper in between?
This is for my tube amps (effects go into their loops) but I do use the Freqout and Keeley Compressor in front of the kemper sometimes. I do need a good OD/Dist pedal for the board. There are about 5 different ones I am considering.
You could just as easily put those effects either in the loop for kemper or put them on the Main Outs (since all of them are Stereo in/out capable).
