My Kemper Power Head will be in storage at a very low humidity area for awhile. I'm curious how well it will do?
Humidity will be about 35%. Worried about coming back, trying to turn it on and nada.
I have the V1.
Looks like it comes with a stand and a dust cover now.
But what is this Kone neo speaker?
I'm guessing it means that the new Kone uses a neomydium magnet? What do the original Kone use?
What's the difference sonically?
When you browse alphabetically via the arrow button, each time you go to a new page, there's a large alphabetical character that blocks half the page for a few seconds. So each time you go to a new letter, you have to wait a few seconds for it to disappear in order to read whats on the screen. It's really annoying.
Could you either make that alphabet design really small and in the corner or just get rid of it altogether? I think when people hit the arrow button and see the name of the rigs change alphabetically, that they will figure out whats going on by intuition and don't need a large 'A', 'B', 'C' design each time.
Alternatively, you could keep the passive Kabinet and add a powere Kabinet for stereo with the Kemper and still have the option of using the power Kabinet with that QC thingy ?
Wouldn't i need to buy two powered kabinets if i wanted stereo?
i currently have a powered toaster and i also have an unpowered Kabinet. Works great together but I'm thinking of getting a quad cortex and would be great to consolidate gear by running everything through one cab.
Does the powered toaster work with a powered kabinet ?
Will the powered Kabinet work/sound good with traditional heads from traditional manufacturers?
I ask because it would be nice to use the powered Kabinet with things that are unpowered, like a quad cortex, but still be able to work with my powered toaster and other heads if i decide.
Like lets say I use an Orange, or a Marshall, or Egnater, Fender head with the Kemper Kabinet.
Since its a default, FRFR neutral sounding kabinet, will it sound great with whatever head you choose to pair with it?
Ah dang.
Kemper devs if you see this we hope you can update the code for the effects presets section
This didnt work, I'm in the browser of the effects section, trying to load different effects and see what sounds good.
After pressing the arrow key, it jumps back to the main page.
Is there some setting I have to check or uncheck ?
I dunno, the plugins never have sounded good to me. I dont know about physical circuitry but computers are ones and zeros. Also, the physical aspect of the kemper is nice. not having to deal with a computer screen, mouse, keyboard, etc is nice.
I have the Kabinet and monitors. You can run the mono sound through the kabinet and stereo sound through the monitors. sounds amazing
I bought mine from Wildwood Guitars in Boulder, Walked in and bought it off the showroom. They have a close relationship with Kemper USA I believe. Maybe they have some detail about inventory coming up.
I I realize that the lights brightness can be controlled using the menu.
But I wonder what kind of technology those bulbs are. Will they dim or lose their brightness over time and then we have to replace the bulbs?
I have the kemper kabinet in the middle paired with 2 studio monitors on the side of that. Sounds glorious
