I have a powerhead lunchbox and I think I left my window open and I think a little rain got on the back of it and now my kemper cab will not turn on. It was working fine for a while but then I tried to turn it on and no sound was coming out of the speaker. I am still getting a response from the input light and I can hear through headphones but nothing from the cab. I live in the Twin Cities Minneapolis St Paul area Minnesota. There is a local guitar store here that has a solid state repairman but I he is not a specialist. Should I take it to him or where should I go or what do I have to do to get my kemper repaired?

Hi, I have a Kemper Kab and I was wondering if I could use it for other types of modeling besides with my Kemper power head. What I am think is like the AU OX box, it allows for different types of cabs and stuff. I am thing of trying to run an OX into the Kab and see how it sounds. Has anyone tried using a Kemper Kab with another type of modeling system or do you think it would work? I would like to just have all my heads run into the OX and then have one cab that I can switch to any cab in the world using the Kemper Kab and the OX models.

I am an owner of a kemper power head and kone. A new product has been released that competes with the Kemper and a lot of people are saying Kemper is outdated and needs to be update. I hear a lot of comparisons where the Kemper is adding some eqs that are not in the real amp. Kemper needs to update their profiling algorithms and interface. They have done a wonderful job of updating Kemper for free but now they need to do a 2.0, It would be cool it they just did a update for everyone. It would be awesome to see Kemper put out a powered floor unit with an updated profiling algorithm and updated interface. This is what we are all waiting to see Kemper, lets see if this happens.

Garrincha V8guitar Garrincha deadman42 - So all of you are telling that you can get the same tones as a Tone Bender mk I, II or III, smiley or any other number of unique fuzz sounds? None of you would put a Chase Bliss Automatone in front of your rig and use it as a overdrive or fuzz? I would love to know how to get all these sounds out of my Kemper. None of you would use a Klon, Timmy or Blues Breaker? All of you think the Kemper can do all this sufficiently enough?

I am thinking of building a pedal board with some unique fuzz, overdrive and distortion pedals that I think sound better than the standard effects that you can put in the chain of the Kemper. I know some people sell all their pedals and just use the Kemper. I was just wondering how many people just use the Kemper and how many people still use pedals with their Kemper? I know this is just an opinion piece. I mostly play at home and don't do much recording and I play out of a Kemper kab.

I have a Kemper power head and Kab and I also have a bunch of cab IRs. In rig manager in my presents in the local library I have a bunch of different cabs that I have paid for. And in the Output section if you have the Cabinet Off Enabled there is an imprint select option where I can choose from a bunch of cabs. What is going on here when you have the cabinet off enabled? Should I choose the imprint select to be as close to the cab IR I am choosing or should I have the imprint select off or what are people's knowledge, opinions / recommendations of this?

When I have the imprint select enabled (cabinet off enabled), when I choose new cab IRs I am hearing a clicking so I would assume that it's doing something, but maybe it's just in my head that the sound is changing. When cabinet off enabled are you using both or are you just going off the imprint select at that point?

Thanks ST, it's Master Mono is very similar to the stacked I was using but this is probably the correct one I should be using. I will use this configuration for now unless someone else suggests something better.

Hi, I have a Kemper power head with one Kemper Kone. What out should I be using? Currently what sounds the best to me is the Monitor Out on Stacked. Monitor Git Processing and Git Studio sound very muffled and mid rangy but the Stacked is very chimmy and a little ice picky. Anyone have any suggestions on what Out I should be using and the setting it should be on?

@V9guitar, a green scream is not an overdrive, that is a tub screamer I would assume and I would bet money without ever looking at it thats what it is because that' s what makes sense. No the kemper does not have something that does an overdrive sound like a blues breaker, king of tone, klon, timmy or any other real overdirve.

I was wondering about the EQ of profiles. I have a lot of paid for profiles that I have bought from people. When they profile their amps are they profiling their EQ setting as well or when someone profiles their amp is everything just on 5? I am asking being I am wondering if I should dial in my own EQ or should I just basically leave the EQ and just do smaller adjustments as need and really on the EQ of the profiler?
