Personally I would like to see a noise generator as an effect module. "A" weighting, pink and white noise selectable. It's how I set my rigs initial level in performance mode, that along with a calibrated SPL meter.

sorry my bad-I made a typo. The version that contains the fix is 3.2.72
Yes

the issue you are reporting is fixed in the latest update of Rig Manager (3.1.72)
No

It would be nice for Kemper to provide a software tool that could allow parsing of the backup files. I'm sure they or whoever they farmed out Rig Manager to has one. Or better yet, provide the file format so we can develop our own.

Agree on all points but just pointing out that it does affect compression incase anyone does use it.
however, you comment above does als raise a good point about compressor types. I hate the “vintage pedal” type sound (Dynacomp/Ross make me puke) it would be so great to see some other compressor styles (including an 1176) added to the KPA. The only compressor stomp I ever managed to like was my Cali76 (an 1176 style pedal. The Cali76 is a nice pedal. I'm currently using a Boss CP-1X in front on the Kemper Stage and always keep it on. Love the sound of that pedal!

Sure thing, here's a couple. Ignore the clutter
Its certainly nothing special, and there are probably better ways to fix the issue, but when I was troubleshooting it, this helped me figure it out, and I just left it in place.
Just curious, which ground did you connect the aluminum foil to?

Iv'e been thinking about this lately also, or an open-source rig manager. I would be very surprised if Kemper doesn't farm out Rig Manager to a third party.

This popped up after performing a backup to USB. I had to do a hard flush, then I repeated the backup and everything went fine. Possibly an error reading the USB?

When I go to save a Performance to a local library an error is displayed when a like performance already exists. Is Rig Manager simply looking for a performance with the same name or does is execute some type of checksum validation?

I've been experiencing similar issues lately also..

I use a Drybell Vibe Machine V2 before the Kemper. Hard to beat in my opinion, depending on the sound your looking for of course!

When I press the edit button while in performance mode and make any adjustment, the Store button does not illuminate. Why not? Sometimes I want to make a quick adjustment to a rig during a live performance on a dimly lit stage and having the Store button illuminate would be helpful...

I've been seeing that also..

If you would like more information about all the available options for Pedal set up, look in the OS 8.5 Main Manual, beginning on page 278.
Thanks. Actually I have and it shows a morph/wah/pitch pedal connected to pedal input 4, but for me I had to use input 3 for some reason to get effects to work.

I tried using pedal input 3 and they both work now, so that's good..

I have a rig in one of my Performances that uses an expression pedal for a classic way, which works with pedal input 2. I have another performace that includes a expression pedal pitch effect but only works with pedal input 4. Is this normal? Can't I use the same pedal input for both effects?
