You would potentially need assistance only for the initial setting/programming of the unit, and this can be done in remote (screen or session sharing with Microsoft Teams or similar). Happy to help you if you decide to go for it.

I believe is intentional.
From the Kemper Drive description in the main Manual.:
The main technical properties were, in contrast to distortion pedals, a soft diode saturation coupled with the clean guitar signal mixed to the saturated sound – this lead to them being known by the somewhat misleading name "transparent overdrive".

Agree if you talk about Live gigs in small venues. But Studio sessions still gets paid pretty well
-
Kudos to Kemper for this new box.
You nailed it again!
My two cents:
- perfect Kemper stage backup is... a second stage.
BTW, in case of a total wrek with my beloved Kemper stage, I can borrow a real tube amp and I still know what to do with it.
- IMHO, anyone who can afford the PLAYER unit AND is mad about stompboxes, has already some sort of stomp-switcher device in his (her) pedalboard. AFAICT, the very few I know do.
100% agree. You want an all-in-one solution? Get one of the existing Profilers. You want to use your pedals? Get the Player. Very easy, I don't get all the whining....
-
I will get one as soon as my credit card has recovered from Xmas. I have a lot of small gigs where I use basically only 1 performance, or acoustic ones where I use only 1 rig. Live I don't use any reverb (I leave it up to the sound guy to add it from the desk, not to screw up the mix). Morph would have been nice to keep, but I can live without.

I want a all-in-one solution....
That's the Stage

Can it do profiling too? It's not quite clear on the product page.
No

Oh wow yes I totally missed that it doesn’t have a fx loop. For a unit designed to be an amp for an existing pedal board, that’s a massive oversight.
Again, HX Stomp (same price point) has a loop.
ToneX, Iridium, all UAFX, Two Notes Cab M and Opus....none has a loop. You just put your pedals before or after it

Charging through USB. I don't see where a wired data connection is supported.
Happy to be corrected.
It has 2 USB, A and B
-
Rig Manager remote app connects to the Player through USB .....
Will this be valid also for the Stage?
-
Website down ?
Too many requests...

Waiting for the price, but this could be the perfect backup for the Stage
-
You need to assign the button in every rig of the performances

Merry Christmast Kemperian !
SG 2002 Std.
Ok, now we want a cover of TNT

Main left, make sure to select "Main Mono" as source in the Output menu

I've bought and checked out many Gilmour profiles and none seem to get me that squeaky/glassy (in a good way) sound like the solo in WYWH. I can get close though.
The Hiwatt pack from MattFig gets me there with my strat

Is it set to tap tempo?

The OS must be the same, that was the issue
