BUT - sometimes the Kemper would randomly sound like it had a cocked wah in front of it. Sometimes re-starting it (45 seconds?) would fix it.....sometimes even multiple hard resets wouldn't work....until randomly they did.....

What does the lock do on right side under master volume do . Where is good place to learn about these buttons and their uses. The lock light seems like its on w sokme rigs but i didnt press it. and on other s no lock

Nothing happens ... I expect the frontend and the kpa switches to slot 2. I also tried other performances but I always stuck in slot 1.

It's not possible to change the slots in performance mode. When clicking on another slot nothing happens.
Fl4sh Can you explain what you mean? What happens when you click on the grey slot 2 on your example?
Is there a way to reorder performances?
You can re-order within a Performance. Use "Move Left" and "Move Right" in the Meatballs menu (the one with the three dots). To manage the order of the 125 performances you need to use your Profiler hardware or Rig Manager Desktop.
