The Celestion 70/80 is a guitar speaker and as such not FRFR. With a different speaker the results could be much better theoretically as the amp in itself is fairly neutral and non- colouring.
In order for the KPA to see/load the third part cabinets, can I place them in a folder or do they have to be lumped in with the amp profiles in the main file folder?
Create a 'cabs' folder within your 'shared' folder and put them there.
Dont think i have ever seen anyone mention that they use a tech21 power engine with their kemper, are they no good?
I have used the PE with several modelers (Pod XTL and X3L) as well as sansamp pedals in the past.
While it's not a bad amplification solution it's not stellar either.
Reliable amplification, loud enough for most things.
Built- in Celestion 70/80 speaker is by definition a guitar amp speaker, sounds fairly neutral but a bit dull also.
The biggest disadvantage is that the unit is not FRFR, therefore nowadays I wouldn't recommend it for a modern amplification system for a modeller/profiler.
Thanks for your fantastic efforts.
Just paypaled you, too.
Sorry to hear that, mate.
I hope you'll be back soon.
Whoah awesome! Have to wait till I'm back from Denmark though. Kemper delivers. Period.
Thank you. Always wanted to play one of these...
I like CK's original design. Bank up/Down to the left or to the right doesn't matter to me.
Thanks a lot for your contributions!
Please include the '66 AC 30....
Nicely done! Thanks!
A true labour of love.
Un lavoro del amore. Grazie mille Jimmyno!
My profile>> settings>> communication>> Enable reception of private messages
Only then it will work.
For me it's:
1. Comprehensive midi controllable parameter set ( like e.g. Delay mix) to be able to use the KPA effects live.
2. See 1.
3. See 1 and 2.
Yeah that's what I was suspecting.
Personally I absolutely LOVE the way the amp compressor works.
Lets me clean up my AC 30 profiles better than anything else, even than the real thing.
But for being able to really turn down the volume you must dial it down near zero.
I'd like to know, too.
Possibilities to lower the volume in a profile:
1. Volume pedal in post amp position
2. EQ in the X - effect slot. Adjust the Volume (-x dB) to taste.
Also: make sure that the compressor in the amp settings is off or not set too high.
Otherwise you will Pump up up your Sound with Compressor when rolling off with your guitar volume pot.
Go to 'SYSTEM' page one >> soft tab for FACTORY RIGS
IMO a simple 'like' button will be enough.
It would be like our mums told us: If you have to say something positive about someone (someone's profile), say it. If not: simply shut up.
Rating scales are way too complicated and misleading, because people tend to rate differently: the more enthusiastic type will tend to give 5 of 5 stars more often than a more critical type.
