also try the pretrucci settings i've posted, they are also pleasant if you like this kind of modern sounds.

I will do more profiles, maybe tomorrow or next week. -
good for guitare heros, with a minimal amount of work, you can create very good guitar hero style leads or modern punchy progressive metal rythm sounds.
They are great to play with a simple Ibanez and a re more interesting with modern high output pickups (did the profile using Di Marzio Evolution Bridge). -
Forgot to put Cornford amps in the request

Have fun... should sounds well on a real cab with the cabinet si desactivated.

I've set the effects for my personal taste with what i had in mind, no special reference to any real song of Dream Theater or something else so you may have to tweak, it's just done "in the spirit of". -
exactly, i've bought the Adam for mixing and monitoring, and judges them playing various music, not especially guitare stuff, the priority was to find good and very precise(definition) monitors.
You need to try several different units, because, event if they are all supposed to be neutral and have flat respons, you will notice that they all have their personnality and sometimes quite different sound fingerprint ! -
Nothing replace the air pressure of a real cab for sure... amp in room sounds means also guitar cab in room. For this, i'm pretty happy of the Matrix + Bogner oversized 2X12. Lightweigt poweramp, but huge power.
But in this case, the wife, neighbour agreement parameter isn't optional -
do yourself a favor, buy a good pair of monitor like Adam A7X or somethong that please your ears. It will be also great to listen music...

yes, i like it a lot and i was sure this wasa right one for you, 10 watt mode on the channel 1 clean mode. Will do more profils in 10w and 45w for the sparkling tube sound.
I still have to explore Mark IV modes too.. -
-
the profils just reflect the quality of the amp.. i've never liked Mesa (exept some clear sound) until i tried the Mark V. This amp can be the amp of a life... so flexible.
The only thing i did on the amp is just a change of the V2 preamp tube, exchanged the original tube for a lower gain one. It reduce a little bit the max gain level of the amp but makes the channel 2 much more manageable.
I will create another bunch of profil this week. -
i also had thos one today, just after start up, sound was very "boomy"/ "bassy". Loaded another profile and retruned to the previous one, things where ok. So you're not alone; but this is the first time it happened to me. I was using the monitor output.

Link Corrected...
The issue, no idea, i've juste played them, tested few effects, renamed them V2 and exported them on the usb key. -
Yes, but the less i tweak, the closer i'm supposed to be from the original amp. It's like with the XTC provided with the Kemper, It's far away of what i obtained and liked with the XTC and XTC classic i owned for years. The amp have many possibilitys and internal interaction. A single profil can't cover the full abilitys of one channel. I don't like to have too much gain, and if the profil was taken with a lot of gain, it probably have missed (a little) something if i want to use it with a moderate gain.
Just like an amp setted with a lot of gain, with the guitar volume turned down, you will not obtain the same result than with the amp setted mid gain, but guitar volume fully opened (even with a guitar that have a very linear spectrum respons to volume).
But make 10 profiles of one channel just with various settings of the gain is useless for sure, 2 or 3 profile is enough as the drive parameter of the Kemper is very efficient. -
-
Never tried the real amp, but looks like to have serious balls ! Thanks for the profil... maybe another one with a little less gain please.
-
yes, when you define the place you want to save the file, you can also rename it, so all you have to do is to replace .mid by .kipr. It's a little boring when you have 10 profils to download but whatever, its seems a bug related to Internet Explorer, not to the Kemper.

Can someone who had the issue test this one ?

Thanks MDan, i've listened one hundred of time your soundcould samples. The Mark V is a great amp, i've always thinked that Mesa was not for me until i spent 3 hours playing with the Mark V at a friend guitar shop. I will do more extreme channel profils this week. -
they are done under the 6900 firmware version. I'm going to edit thelm and save them under another name
