M-dan has posted in another forum (musikerboard) that previous versions of the FW were making the backup in that way....it would be nice to have that function back, at least for the cabs....
-
Hi Mats, you can set that also from the browsing option of your browser, at least it works under Firefox and IE
-
Euh... When you export your profils (there were inputs , effects etc profils too, ), have you create yourself cabinets files, rigs files, inputs files and so one, in the usb share files? Or does the kemper do that normaly himself...?
You can save them FROM the Rigs, if you do that then they are available on the cab, input ... and so for. Once you did that the backup create the cab folder on the USB key when you export (backup creates a single file)
-
That would be usefull, but it assumes that everybody will be using the same naming convention for the tagging...difficult
-
Unfortunately not with 6900.
?!? I'm on 6900 as well....
-
Well, if Hoss did it the best is to ask him...or Cristoph directly...AFAIK you can import/export rigs/profiles from the shared folder or backup the all unit, I'm not aware that you can export single FX or cabs or whatsoever....hope I'm wrong...
-
AFAIK...you can't...
-
Hello Hoss, good job!
But how do you make that, to create cab files (and others) which are directly placed into the kemper cab presets during import? You can save them separately after that you create the profile
-
Wow....well, I'm a kind of mid-gain guitarist and reducing the gain and playing around with the tonestack I've got one of the nicest singing lead tone to date!! The profile is good, but this box is absolutely mindblowing!!!!
Edit: Keep'em coming!!! XTC Blue Clean and ODS100 mid gain maybe? Please.....
-
Great stuff!! Incredible how good it sounds also when you reduce gain
-
Yep, also here, running 6900

Hi Lance,
This is exactly what I want to check out this evening, I'll profile my preferred Dumbe-ish patch on S-Gear (that uses Redwirez IRs, 4x12 Basketwave with G12M25s) and then play around with the cabs in the Kemper and also look how the Kemperized IR sounds. I'll keep you posted.
-
Thanks Simon, I'll give it a try later
-
You could just profile them using a software modeler and then save the cab...it should work. I will profile this evening my preferred setups of S-Gear, and it uses Redwirez IRs. I'll let you know how it works....
-
You should better talk about Rugby, Lance.
-
Great stuff! How did you amplify the Kemper live? Direct + FRFR?
-
Just tried it and it works just fine. 6900 here

I don't think you need to be sorry, just wanted to point you to the right thread
