I think its a really bad idea to have asked the users how the foot control is manufactured
there will always be different opinions
ck your way to the factory and we will take it as is
if not in 10 years there will always be trying to wait

Analysis:
1. Most go for the bank buttons on the right foot.
2. A majority go for the Fx-Buttons on the bottom row. Very interesting!
3. A small majority go for 6 buttons width instead of five.
There is a little logic gap here, as all three questions were not as independent from each other, as I thought.
Three of you chosed the 6 button design with Fx buttons on the lower row.
This does not make too much sense, as this design can easily be done by 5 buttons per row, as seen earlier in this thread.

Can the three of you explain their vision?

for me it's perfect
and now it comes out when?
because I need tomorrow
I do not think this problem is only for kemper I heard several real amp that had such default
and also here's a sample I did with axe 2 before I resell
Display MoreHey Guitarmanjac,
welcome onto this board
I've direct experience with an Axe Ultra and a KPA. But I've been listening to both for practically their whole lifetime, so with ant FW version.
I can almost always tell the Axe in a blind (online) A/B test. The Axe has got its sound signature. This is not bad in itself, but the fact that the KPA has no sound signature tells something about its ability to faithfully reproduce an amp IMO.
The way I went is this: I don't want and don't need tons of fx: several good fx are enough for me! (LOL) And I know (believe) Kemper will add more fx in the time.
A great-sounding valve amp is enough to make me happy, I want something I can just turn knobs over, like in a simple amp. If I can have hundreds of great-sounding valve amps in a lunchbox it's a no-brainer to me.
The KPA delivers the promise of giving you a super amp on steroids w/o any of the related hassles and drawbacks of a complicated machine. And, a rack version is on its way, as well as a poweramp to fit the KPA back.
As for things being not yet ready in the KPA, I see buying a KPA as an investment: you buy once, you evolve (in FW) forever: another no-brainer for me. Things would be different if there were some specific function/service I needed now because of my business or my artistic needs, but it's not my case. I'm sure things will come: Kemper has developed a solid reputation as a hardware designer and about consistent and quality FW updating/upgrading, and they are a German firm: it's all I need in order to trust them.
IOW, I'd not compare the two machines on the basis of the currently available services, but rather on the promise each platform delivers. I fell in love with the KPA sound, and can wait for the rest to come.
Last, I could never understand those who state that the KPA is only suited for those who own some amps to profile. Nor those stating that they don't want to rely on other's sound choices. As if this weren't true for any modeller...
The truth is, that if you need an AC30, or a JCM800, you have tenths of choices, which you can tweak more than it's commonly understood. Impossible not to find your sound IMO. And in the KPA's still short lifetime, the quality of profiles has steadily grown, along with users' experience. I'm sure it will go on growing
Edit: almost forgot: my PC came natively with a SP/DIF port, and I'm sure one can be bought inexpensively as an additional card in case. An option worth considering IMO
Just my opinions of course.
bravo dotore ai parlato bene
I sold my axe 2 and I am very happy
yes I also want MY PERFORM MODE
PLEASE
THANK YOU
Display Morehello friends,
my kpa crashes, when pressing the wahwah pedal during the backup process!
Midi pedal on CC # 1.
That is what I usually do, when backup process!
I hope this info is usefull!
panhandle
I do not understand why you presses the Wawa during the backup
it is pointless lol
It seems that in this case the kemper's signal is less rich than the real amp's signal. There are less frequencies for the intermodulation process which sometimes sounds weird.
It is related to the depth of the process?
Can we expect in the futur with the kemper II and a more powerfull DSP to get something better/more rich?
