Nope - using the 2nd input on the Kemper didn't help either.
Same results. Only goes up, doesn't go down.
VERY frustrating.

I wonder if a system reset will help?
Yes, I have polarity the same. Momentary on both. Middle plug on the FS-6. Unit is literally right out of the box brand new.
I wonder if I should try input 2 on the Kemper?
Similar problem here....just purchase the FS-6.
Plugged into "pedal 1" - set to Switch (Stereo) Rig Up/Down
Plugged into the middle input A & B on the FS-6.
Mode on each is Momentary, polarity is switched to the left on both.
The Problem -- ONLY the B switch is working and therefore only going "UP" on the presets.
A switch is not working.
Everything is brand new, unit, battery, etc.
HELP PLEASE. Not sure what else to do.
Feeling like a total noob...

Sounds great Mitch!!!!! What an amazing experience for you........and what an honor!
The "you sounded nervous" comment is just sheer idiocy (and perhaps throw in a dash of jealousy for good measure) IMHO.
100% of the people on this board DREAM of getting the opportunity your had with VH and to "sound nervous".
...and yes, your profiles also rock.
PS. I play with Greg Berger every now and again.....he mentions you from time to time.

I would love to have someone put together a video of how to correctly use the Clense Sens and Distortion Sense in regards to getting optimal performance from the Kemper. Whether it's for profiling or live performance, recording, etc.
Seems like its a very integral part of the unit - yet there is nothing that clearly explains how to use it to the maximum potential.
Perhaps someone can do this? I think it would get a lot of use!

Not sure if this was posted anywhere, but this dude is nasty and it's a killer Kemper lead tone.

Vinai - if you are out there, GREAT JOB!
(and can you share the profile!)

Isn't Scott also an admin on the Fractal forum (and a beta tester for Fractal)?
If so, I would call that a shill in many ways. He is completely biased. He breaks up Fractal related arguments that look bad or suggest Fractal isn't perfect. Seen it dozens of times. I do continually love "it can't get any better" after each Firmware improvement. Those dudes are completely insane.
Anyways...back to recording.
Thank you VERY MUCH. For guys like me -- there is no need for an extensive pedal board. This should do it. Simple and very effective. A few patches up, a few patches down.
Thanks again!
Thanks man - appreciate that. Anything comparable?
Once again - just a VERY simple channel switcher between 3 or 4 tones. I'm a tube guy at heart and I would never play more than 3 or 4 tones in a night. Clean, Mid Gain, Crunch, Lead.
The problem with the Kemper is choosing my favorite 4 tones!!!!
Please keep the foot switcher options coming. Really appreciate it.
What about this Midi Mouse thing I keep hearing about?
Hey there - I know there has been a lot of talk about the upcoming foot controller....
But if I just want to use 4 regular patches, what is the cheapest and most simple device that would work with the KPA?
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere -
Thanks!

Uhhhhhmmmm.... very interesting.
Perhaps we should all wait and see what the ads look like before making judgement?
Just a thought.
I for one am very excited to see this upcoming advertising campaign from CK and the Kemper team!
GO CK!!!!!!!! I love it.
Wow. I think you are right. This was in August - and there hasn't been anything I have heard that looks like a company is doing anything close to what he describes against Fractal.
Cliff is looking to justify Cliff by saying everyone is out to get him! Pathetic.
and44 -- dude - I hate you!
I bought a couple of your amazing profiles and now I think I'm gonna drop all of the money I had saved for porn.
Cliff should be a bit stressed -- those full page advertisements aren't cheap, and it seems this company (whoever it is), is ready to play ball and has the revenues to back it up.
I look forward to this development......
Now Fractal is taking the "high road"???? -- after all of their claims and homemade tests comparing other products, they are taking the "high road"???
GREAT production and GREAT tones!
(don't hate me....but I'm just not digging that guys voice).
What a gorgeous studio bro!!! Wow. You artist roster is very impressive too.
...looking forward to the profiles as well!!!!
So here is producer/studio curiosity --- are you telling guitarists that come in to try the Kemper (profiling their existing rig)? From my experience here in the Mid Atlantic, the engineers are basically tell the guitarists to use the Kemper for various reasons. They come in the 1st day of session - bang out profiles, then they are done. Tones locked in the box.
Are you having similar experience man?
Thanks,
JEL
Yes, I guessed this correctly. To me the Kemper reverb trail on this clip gave it away, along with the harmonics. Axe FX doesn't sound like that (or at least mine didn't it)....cool clip though. Thanks for the sharing.
