Wow, sooo groovy & funky Brother Mats!
Always been a fan of the polysynth-stabs thing.
Hey MM!
Haven't seen you around for a while. Glad you're back!
Also glad you liked my tune.

Not sure what's going on with the clipping crash at 20 seconds. It sounded better at the 2:48 mark.
What you're hearing is a distorted snare at the same time as the crash at 20 s.

lol. Hey Mats. There is no pleasing you today Brother. I hope you’re doing great my friend. I am messing around with Kemper and pedals at the moment. Forgive me dumping videos.
No worries, mate! I love dumped videos.
And I did get that you had a great lead sound.
Cheers,
Mats N
Cheers Mats. This sounds just the ticket. Have you any examples of your recordings using this? Cheers
Johnny
Every recording I've done for the past 15 years has been this setup.

This was somewhat better so I heard a Richard Marx song with a solo.

Hey mate.
I would love to do that.
I’m going to look at recording gear at the end of year.
I can really recommend the PreSonus Studio 24c audio interface. It's a really solid interface with good converters and low latency. It also comes with Studio One Artist recording software (DAW) that's incredibly easy to use.

Like the track and love the bass,

Superb track with timing to die for!
The clean slides are driving the groove really well.
What guitar is that with the P90?
What profile did you use for the clean sound?
Cheers,
Mats N
Sorry to rain on your parade but the low quality of the video made it impossible to properly hear what you do.

This is a track I started writing about 10 years ago. But I ran out of inspiration so it didn't get finished.
A few weeks ago when I was revisiting old unfinished tunes I found it again and this time I had enough ideas to finish it.
It's a tune with a (for me) unusual mix of synths, hard hitting processed drums, synth bass/electric bass and a few guitars.
Guitars: James Tyler SE recorded direct with the Fender Tone Master Pro.
I hope you'll enjoy it!

Your such an inspiration
I don't know how or when, but I'm glad my stuff appeals to you.

Hi Renaud,
You're very welcome!
I do appreciate the shout out when you post tunes with my sounds as a love hearing what people do with my profiles..
And I do like this track!

Hey Mats.
I have a feeling you’re ready to pull the trigger on a Tyler. Maybe a Customshop Mats edition?
Hi Johnny,
I bought a very special custom Tyler SE back in 2007. It's a alder centrepiece body with carved ash wings (carved by a company that cares aluminum airplane wings). According to Jim, this give the guitar the best aspects of both alder and ash. The carve make it lighter and more dynamic. The switching system is really good with three switches located above the 5-way looking like a Dann Huff set-up but on mine the switches do:
Mid-boost bypass
Bridge HB split when 5-way is in position 1 (position 2 is auto-split)
Add neck/bridge which gives me either bridge + neck or all three pups.
I also have that same switching system in a alder SE Burning Water. Quite a different guitar. Love them both!

Go analog with a real germanium pedal , I'm in love with these , Tom's line G-fuzz used here is only 30€ and works great on my strat , the ineraction between guitar , pedal& amp sounds killer by playing with the git vol pot, Hendrix style. TBH I used open source NAM on all distorded parts because of this interaction, the old KPA has some limits here.
Thanks for the fuzz tipp. It's in my browser ready for checking out.
Cheers,
Mats N
Thx Mats, it's the keyztone exchanger pro, does wonders on my strat : LP leads, & tele overdubs , also great on my Ibanez artist . I now don't really need my 10 guitar collection , I could easily focus on 6 with the new PU sims.
The keyztone is a french analog pedal, apparently no DSP , killer device TBH.
Thanks for the info. Will look into it ASAP!

It's got that dance riff going. I'd call it Hard Disco. You could be famous!
Thanks, BT!
I'm already famous in my own home studio.

Sometimes I think music is like a puzzle without the box, there’s lots of bits that could work together but aren’t quite right, and only one that really does and once you find it everything else just clicks into place. Well done on finding that peice!
Thank, Per!
"A puzzle without the box". I have never, ever heard a better explanation of the amazing process of creating music. I will use that!

Great happy vibe on this one Mats , I would recognize your playing style in a few seconds now
I liked the sounds , cleans funky chords & breaks very much , reminds the style of another KPA user, MuddySludge
10 years after , that's some achievement for your track , well done
Thanks, Renaud!
Happy to be compared to Muddy.

My good man!
This sounds great all over. So deliciously airy and relaxed!
I've seen you mention pickup sims in a few posts. May I ask what it is you're using?
Cheers,
Mats N
What pedal is that?
