I do like the way you layer contrasting guitars.

I want to be able to play with timing like that.

Hey Johnny!
You sure know how to nail those 80's sounds.

Great track, Renaud!
I really need to get into that style of playing.
I don't know what some of you guys are drinking but it certainly makes you write really interesting tunes.

Another great track!
You seem to be on a continuous improvement curve.

My favourite Muddy tune so far!
Wonderful bass! Great timing and sound.

Really like the fuzz coming in at 0:31.
I'm in the process of writing something along these lines when it come to guitar sounds but in a very different style.
This is inspiring!

Can't go wrong with a Tyler and a Soldano!

I like this.
The bass is fine but the bass drum is a tad loud in my Adam A7 monitors.

This is a track that I started writing in 1999 and then did some work on in 2010. But for some reason I didn't know how to develop it.
Last week I found a rhythmic motif that got me going again and I finished it in a day.
This is a mix of pop and a bit of rhythm mayhem in the middle.
Guitars: James Tyler SE (HSS) and Classic (SSS).
Hope you'll enjoy it!

I had power back today, but no real time to record anything after a very long day.

New tune, Tears
Hi there, its been a busy week but finally managed to record a new tune. I used a Top Jimi ACDC profile for this one in Drop D
Killer tone and playing!
But then that seems to be the everyday status in the Joe Collings household.

Great sounds. Those guys really have the richest tone.
Exactly my opinion as well!

I love the guitar sounds coming from the Los Angeles session studio guitarists and their huge racks and they are so much fun to play!
Guitars were James Tyler SE and Classic.
Hope you'll enjoy it!

Well done on these voicings, they sound great and I hear a lot of fiths , and the track is really fun to listen with the rhythm & guitar breaks. Great tones too
It reminds me the works of another great KPA user here MuddySludge
Thanks, Renaud!

Great tune!!!
Thank you, Bakersounds!
Great tune - great playing ... very '80s Landau-ish indeed ... assuming all Kemper - care to share details?
Thanks, Wolf!
Nice one
How about adding a soft Prophet-5 pad after a few minutes?
Cheers !
Thanks Hoki Toki!

I just love the rack style tones from the 80s and I must admit to being heavily influenced by the players from that era. Here's a collage of sounds and musical ideas using such sounds.
Guitars: Tyler SE HD and Tyler Classic
Bass: Sire V7
Hope you'll enjoy it!
