Renaud, my good man!
Such a very cool track.
You, Per and Joe have this thing in common that you write/arrange tunes and play guitar like I never could. So I do enjoy your music and see every tune you publish as a learning opportunity.

Musically, I grew up on this kind of music so I love every bit of this track.
And there's nothing cheesy at all about it.

Fun stuff!
And you really managed to make the guitars sound like they are part of the original song. I've tried to do that a few time and I found it to be really hard.

This is a really fun and engaging track and I would love to hear it with the vocals.
The timing in this track is what makes it so special in my ears.

Another cool tune!

The intro sound like Liquid Grooves from Eric Persing. I've written many tunes with that library.
This arrangement reminded me of Scottish folk music.
Did you record the harmony guitars one by one or is it a harmonizer effect?
Cheers,
Mats N
Sooooo relaxing and such a beautiful soundscape!
Please tell me how you recorded this and with what?

Hi Joptunes,
I'm not quite sure why, but when I heard the intro I started thinking about Mike Oldfield.
I like this track. Superb drum mix!

3 - create a soft drum beat with a wet snare and a low kick that is not overpowering.
This, you managed admirably. I would like the bass drum to be a touch louder. I suspect the bass drum and the bass are masking each other at time and thus my impression.

I was programming some presets in the Fender Tone Master Pro and I wanted some Pink Floyd style tones. When I was done programming, I wanted to check out how they sound in context, so I wrote this piece.
It's not really a tune as such but rather a collage of sounds, but I still hope you will find it worth your while.

I can sure hear MMD voice in my head on this one , what a great singer. Great arrangement Mats.
That live show from the doobie brothers is surely at the pinnacle of all live show on earth. That intro vocals & chords from MMD on the CP80 is so perfect, give me chills every time

Thanks, Renaud!
I hadn't seen that video so thanks for that too!

Great tune and excellent playing. Michael McDonald very underrated musician in general.
Thank you and I agree about Mr McDonald.

Thanks it's a Gibson J-45 and used a Slate ML-1 mic then mic emulation in the slate software bundle. single mic at the 12th fret pointed towards the sound hole.
Thanks for the info.
The answer I was hoping for was an average Strat style guitar into a profile found on the RE.

Back to your Larry roots!
Loved it Mats.
Thanks, MM!
Always good to get back home.
More of that stuff in the works.

I can hear the love you have in the genre through the riffing. Nicely done Mats.
Thanks, Larry!
Can't hide what you love.

You have such a tight and groovy right hand that makes me so envious.
This tune definitely would be so good with vocals on top.
Cheers,

Ha, ha!
Being a food lover, I really enjoyed the lyrics.

I don't know exactly why, but it reminds me of Europe.
Which is a good thing.
