The Master Volume knob acts as a master control of all output volumes linked to it:
Main Output Volume
Monitor Output Volume
Headphone Output Volume
S/PDIF Output Volume
If you unlink for example Main Output Volume, it's level - that you set in the Output Section - sticks and doesn't follow Master Volume anymore.
This matter is covered in the printed Quick Start Manual that comes with the PROFILER.

Ich gehe davon aus, dass Du den DIRECT OUT/SEND in seiner Eigenschaft als normaler Ausgang (DIRECT OUT) benutzt - wie von mir vorgeschlagen -., also nicht als FX Send, denn sonst müßtests Du in jedes Rig eine Effect Loop einbauen.

Das Monitorsignal geht über unseren XR18 und wird von uns gesteuert und nicht vom FOH. Wir splitten unsere Signale.
Das bedeutet das mein Mainout zur Stagebox geht und mein Monitor Out zum XR18. Meine Kollegen bekommen das tunen mit, das Publikum nicht. Das muten brauche ich nicht, mir reicht die ständige Anzeige auf dem Stage. Mir wurde vom Support halt gesagt das dies so funktionieren würde und ich warte nun auf die Rückmeldung wie das ganze funktioniren könnte. Ich bin ja auch alternativen Ideen offen. Bei meinem Pedalboard habe ich das Signal aus meinem Tuner abgegriffen und dem XR18 als zweiten Kanal zugeführt. So hatte ich zwar immer ein cleanes Signal mit auf dem Ohr aber das war so leise gedreht das ich es nur dann höre wenn alle anderen still sind. War nicht optimal ging aber. Alternativ gäbe es vielleicht die Option den Main Out hinter dem Kemper stillzulegen (per Pedal zb) oder ich hänge ein Tuner in einen der FX Wege und gehe von da in den Mischer. Dazu müsste aber der FX Weg noch Signal haben wenn ich den Output per Pedal wegregel.
Du kannst, wie bei Deinem Pedalboard das Signal am DIRECT OUT abgreifen und in den XR 18 leiten. Wenn Du die Output Source des DIRECT OUT auf "Git Analog" stellst, schickt der Ausgang das Gitarrensignal unbearbeitet raus - auch das Volume Pedal wirkt sich dann nicht aus. Das wäre also das Dir gewohnte Setup.
Dass man immer das cleane Signal im Monitoring zumischt, ist aber gelinde gesagt "sehr ungewöhnlich". Ich verstehe nach wie vor nicht, warum Du nicht so stimmen kannst wie alle anderen. Darf ich ganz unschuldig fragen: Hast Du vielleicht Probleme mit dem Sehen?

Die Beschreibung der Output Volumes und Output Volume Links bezieht sich auf die globalen Lautstärkeregler in der Output Section. Die kann man aber nicht per Pedal steuern - außer Monitor Output Volume. Das nützt aber nichts, wenn man im Tuner Mode das Signal gemutet hat. Dann ist da nichts zu regeln. Das Muten wirkt sich auf alle Ausgänge aus.
Wenn man InEar benutzt, bekommt man ja zumindest in professionellen Environments seinen Monitor-Mix vom Mischpult einschließlich der eigenen Gitarre. Wie soll der Monitor-Mix an den Ton vom PROFILER gelangen, wenn das Signal gemutet ist, damit das Publikum nicht beim Stimmen zuhören muss?
Normalerweise orientiert man sich beim Stimmen an der Optik und am Körperschall, der sich von der Gitarre überträgt. Wenn das aber absolut gewünscht ist, mußt Du ein herkömmliches analoges Lautstärkepedal hinter den Ausgang hängen, der das Signal zum Mischpult schickt, z. B. den MAIN OUT. Dann kannst Du gezielt nur den Ausgang muten.
If you use the snapshot mechanism, it is one button to store a Snapshot in Browser Mode, true. But in Performance Mode that button is occupied by Enable Slot. So, it couldn't be just one button in Performance Mode. As you own a classical PROFILER model you can store the Rig in the clipboard in Performance Mode by pressing just one button: COPY.
Taking the next step, you would access the Snapshot by entering Rig Settings, then Browse Snapshot, select and load that Snapshot. Afterwards you still need to delete that Snapshot. With my suggestion you just press PASTE. Couldn't be easier.
You could use the feature "UI to MIDI" described in the Main Manual. It basically allows to run one PROFILER as a master and another as a slave in Performance Mode. It includes also pedal controllers, module on/off switching and others.

Generally, we are very consciously avoiding sound changes with OS updates and any innovations we introduce.
Unfortunately, people tend to relate any issue they experience to the last update. And given our innovation rate there is always a last update.
I don't really understand the practical difference.
While in Performance Mode you can use STORE/ Export Rig to Pool and afterwards select and load that Rig from your Rig pool using BROWSE. You don't need to leave Performance Mode for that. If you don't want to keep that Rig in your Browse Pool, use the COPY/PASTE buttons of the classical PROFILER models and clipboard to copy and paste the Slot. The same copy/paste function is available at the Stage holding the RIG button.
My personal experience is that Windows 10 is the best.
You can use PROFILER OS 8 without Rig Manager, but the current Rig Manager version requires a supported PC/MAC operating system.
Windows 7 has been declared obsolete and unsupported. Microsoft announced this with a long lead time. Most PCs can be upgraded to Windows 8 and 10. Such upgrades are even available free of charge.
I guess, you have assigned a pedal function to a socket while a switch normally open is connected.
If the PROFILER finds a socket with a pedal function e.g. Morph Pedal while a cable is plugged into that socket and the line is open - either an open jack on the other side or an open switch - the PROFIELR tries to sens the taper of an expression pedal. That is causing the fluctuation of the bar.
To adjust the volume globally you would normally use the corresponding output volume e.g. Monitor Output Volume instead of a volume, which you need to adjust by Rig and store.
You find Browse Snapshot in Rig Settings. There you can select and load a Snapshots. As soon as it is loaded you can store it as a Rig. And then you can load it into a Slot of a Performance.

I'm using UNO4KEMPER on a FCB1010 since a few days. I had trouble from start, but after a while it seemed to work, but I still have some strange observations and would like to understand if this is normal:
- First time boot up after UNO4KEMPER was installed didn't work. Switching on caused just a click after some time, no function running. Second start worked fine. This happens again if the FCB1010 is not used for some time (1-2 days)
- Initial configuration for the 2nd row was not as described in the UNO4KEMPER manual. I had to manually assign. Also here I discovered that the configuration is lost after a while when switched off (at last partly, maybe it goes back to default)
First point is strange, but now I know, I just have to turn it on twice after some time, but the loss of configuration is really annoying. Maybe this is also linked to the first problem. It may have booting issues when no configuration is found...? Where is the config stored, in the UNO4KEMPER EPROM? Or somewhere else?

To me this seems FCB1010 hardware related. Make sure, the UNO4KEMPER chip is correctly plugged in. Perhaps there is a battery that could be replaced.
Check, if the Mix ist set to Pre or Post within the Effect Loop. While set to Pre it controls the SEND. So the RETURN could still receive a signal from an external device.
Also check if one of the Aux In controls is cranked up. Perhaps you are picking a signal from external device via Aux In.
You can make a simple check by plugging your guitar into the RETURN/ALTERNATIVE IN. If Aux In is cranked down and Effect Loop Mix is Post and cranked down as well you don't hear anything. No signal leakage.
Test the ALTERNATIVE IN with Input Source set accordingly.
Performance Name, Slot Name, Rig Name, Amp Name, Cabinet Name, other tags... are all different animals. People can use these for different purposes.
Performance Name could reflect the name of a song.
Slot Name could reflect a musical Scene e.g. "Solo".
Rig Name could reflect a combination of information like "Gilmourish SM57".
Amp Name could be "Hiwatt 100".
These are just examples.
Rig Name is normally a combination of pieces of information about provider of the Rig, amplifier, amp settings, microphone, instrument, purpose of the Rig.... It can be edited when you store a RIG (Store/Rename) or in the Rig Settings under Rig Tags (also Rig Tags in Rig Manager).
As long as Slot Name equals Rig Name, both change, if another Rig gets loaded into a Slot. Slot Name follows Rig Name. As soon as Slot Name and Rig Name deviate, the Slot Name sticks and doesn't follow, if you load another Rig. Slot Name can be changed in Edit/Slot Settings or Rig Manager.
Amplifier Name is one of a whole bunch of amplifier tags, which can be edited in the amplifier module under Amp Tags. The same applies to Cabinet Tags.
