Hey Lance, did you and Peter do any Marshall profiles?
Or any other profiles btw?

...and he's browsing this very thread right this second!
-
Ok, then he needs to post here ASAP
-
I cannot say how often I wanted to reply but accidently pushed the "report" button instead.
And just right now, I wanted to reply to a user and accidently "reported" his post. (Sorry about that btw)
Anyone else with that prob - or am I going senile?
-
i reported every single bug. and i can run it (most times) without shutting down... but then i have to spare 50% of the (meant) functionality.
What did support say about your bug reports?
I've reported the ones I found - and they were very quick in getting back to me and telling me what it was and what they'll do about it. -
Yes, it never hurts to have more JCM800 profiles
Someone should invite this dude... -
Please also send an email to Kemper support. Not sure if they can keep track of all the posts here??
-
I used to get that whisteling thingy on my Pod HD500 a lot - but none of it on the KPA.
The KPA is dead silent.Which patch...er sorry... I meant "profile" are you getting this on?
-
We can even bypass the amp and the cab, just keep eq and effects and the volume. It works too...
Exactly. That's what I do with my Nylon string Acoustic - and it works wonderfully. Very natural
-
and if it is palm muted with what should you press finish? The headstock? ...or are we supposed to play naked?
HAHAHAHAHA LOL!!!!!!
-
5) Play some muted power chords (I use D-Bb-C-G)
6) While the last power chord rings - press 'Finish'I'm a little confused by the last bit in your "recipee".
What exactly do you mean by this?
Do you mean to palm-mute (by placing your right hand at the bridge) those power chords (consisting of 2 notes)? And then, while the last muted power chord rings (how can it ring if you palm-mute it?) to press the finish button?
-
True.
Mystery solved! Thanks -
Yes, I get that too. I always have to log in twice.
Also - the links to this forum all do not work for me. Neither on IE, nor Chrome.
E.g. I cannot get this link to work:
http://kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?page=IndexI get an "Error 404 - Not found"
-
Basically, it's the same with the Les Paul forum.
Most of those guys that invested in "historics reissues LP's" are pretty snobbish and can't accept the fact that a much less expensive production model LP can sound better sometimes. It's basic human psychology with all of them.
All I say is don't let anyone influence you and do not blindly follow hype!
Listen with your own ears because only you know what works best for you! -
Yes, I know. But I doubt he made this very forum in 2009.
That's why I think it is connected to another forum... hence the 2009 and the 2,900 user record -
Yes, sorry - I meant during the refining process.
Ok, question for the man - CK! -
The Axe people are crazy!!!
Seriously - let's not start a war here - but those guys have made a huge investment at $2000 upwads.
They invested in the "best of the best in the whole galaxy". So naturally - if another product comes out that rivals that at a lower cost - it just cannot be possible for them.
They seriously start to panic as their world could blow up!!! -
Question: does the pickups (humbuckers vs singlecoils - high, medium, low output) - or even the position of the pickup (neck, middle bridge) matter, when profiling an amp?
Does it make a difference or will there be a different response or feel in the amp, depending on the pickups used? -
I haven't encountered this prob yet.
What did support say about it?
-
I think this forum is "linked", or connected to another forum (maybe the Virus stuff).
That's why you get this numberE.g. we also have a member (world creator) who was registered in 2009!!!
