The 2nd setup is my standard.
The 3rd is my favorite.

Hmm the joyo has a speaker sim as well and is cheaper...
The speaker sim to the Joyo is always ON, something that maybe you don't want - need when you make DI profiles.
With the GI 100 that mentioned, you have a cab sim ON/OFF option, make it more suitable to use for what you want, as normal DI for direct profiles, or as cab sim for your amp(s).
A power amp simulation(s) just before the cab,in case that I want to use preamp profiles.
+1
I wish for both.
I wish everything will get better for you and your family soon.
2000 Bucks????? Are they selling any unit out of big touring acts?
Only 1500 euros, plus taxes. :D.
Here's, an alternative to the LF.

I prefer the convenient head version, than a bulky rack!
rdwilson, try to connect the power block as follows:
KPA - L- out ---) PB -L- line in
KPA - R- out ---) PB -R- line in
PB - L - speaker out ---) CAB L
PB - R - speaker out ---) CAB R
The BRIDGE /MONO switch must be disengaged (out position)
Yes, works fine connecting to the return of the FX loop.
that is a dual pole: the jack is stereo
The switch in the Raen's picture is SPDT.(that means: Single Pole Double Throw), and as he said is latch type.
Jimmyno has the same SPDT but unlatch (momentary) type
Read my previous post.
1/ With a latching switch you have to press twice in order to change the profile ( my experience).
2/ I don't know if you can go up/down with a single switch, since I haven't tried to connect the poles that way, but I can try tomorrow
1/ Right (for a single function -for instance RIG UP-)
2/ I have already done this, and works fine.
The specs of the Kemper says it works only with temporary switches, though I've never tried it with Latching ones.....
For this case of Raen, using an unlatch type, when you push the switch, you connect the ground with (let's say) the tip, that means RIG UP function ,and when you release it, you connect the ground with the ring, that means RIG DOWN function.
So, when you push the switch, the KPA changes to the next rig,and when you release the switch, KPA returns to the previous rig, immediately.
Using a latch type, pressing once you connect the ground with the tip (RIG UP) and remains to this status, until you press a second time that connects the ground with the ring (RIG DOWN) and remains there until you press the switch again.
Yes will work, but you need latch type (with click) to do it, and as said before, you can change only between 2 rigs.
FEATURE REQUEST FINISH THE GOD DAMN PRODUCT I BOUGHT NEARLY 8 MONTHS AGO AND RELEASED A YEAR AGO!
I'm happy with my kpa, but I agree with this statement.
After taking advantage of the Black Friday specials on commercial profiles I can now state that the NUMBER ONE priority for the Kemper is a librarian/editor. Loading, restoring, shuffling and auditioning over a thousand profiles via USB stick is frustrating. I can live without the foot controller for now. I don't even need the built in power amp just yet. I'm just wrestling with data that begs to be handled by my Mac Pro.
Am I the only one who feels this way?
Actually this has been asked since the early days. Take a look to this thread:
Very cool!! Congratulations!
