Are we able to load Redwirez IR or other third party cabs into the KPA?
I don't think the KPA uses IRs. However, may be a future option?

To put my own two cents. I have not heard the Axe FX II. But this unit is clearly a modeling device with an added convolution engine at the speaker side. No judging of sound quality here!
The Fractal statement "this unit will do profiling, too" is completly implausible to me.
Recreating the characteristics of an amplifier will either require the technique Mr. Kemper has spend a long time to develop. Or it would require a dynamic convolution engine with different IRs for each degree of distortion. I am sure, Cliff is a clever engineer but I doubt, the Axe has been prepared with any of those approaches in mind.
I am not satisfied with the Tube Screamer. Doesn't sound like the real thing.
All the lofi-, Bitcrushing and resonance filter stuff from the TI
It should at least be possible to assign a free parameter of any amp/effect to the pedal. That's what Line 6 does. However, Boss does it a lot better. You can assign multiple parameter with individual ranges to a controller. ... increase the gain and add a little delay.
Feature wish:
I would like to able to see all rigs in the cab-browser, not just the single saved cabs. Selecting another rig here, should load the corresponding cab info from that rig.
Stupid question: Can I not import a single Rig?
What about a switch to record the dry input-signal via S/PDIF. Could be useful.
I would even be happy to edit the attributes and names using a text-editor on my computer.
*** just read the warning to edit even names, oops ***
IRs are old technology, they were used on the Line 6 Pod 1.
Who told you that? It's not true. A well done (set of) IR can sound good and can also be flexible, see Two Notes and Control Room Pro in Guitar Rig 5. I believe, being able to load IRs into the Profiler would be a nice option. You might want to model just the amps.
I would definitely wanna have an option to enter the tags, names etc. an easier way. I would be happy with a compatible file format that I can edit in a text-editor. Setting the names and tags adequately really take a long time.
