Thanks.
I should have been clearer, I mean self noise, so when nothing's plugged in and the volume is up are there any truly quiet units. Obviously I'm not expecting silence.
Thanks.

I'm thinking mostly about the the portable PA speaker/full range route but am so used to very quiet monitoring that the usual hiss associated with modestly priced live gear drives me nuts and was wondering if anyone knows about/uses such a solution.
command delete works in RM too!
Also my "objection" was directed towards the remark - that "no other Mac app works that way".
I found command delete worked maybe once and then just didn't any more, making it all feel somewhat flakey. Even right click/delete only works some of the time, I've had to quit and reboot to get it working again.
AS LONG AS THEY'RE IN ALL CAPS WE'RE GOOD, BRO.
TBH I don't even bother clicking on them.
Objection your honor!
Finder ?!!! RM mimics Finder - I select, right-click, delete (move to trash) all the time on my Mac!
Delete, command delete, and dragging are finder routines, too, so Kemper only partially mimics the finder.
And only the routine I rarely use.
It's a conspiracy.
When you right-click on them, is the option to remove / delete them not there, greyed-out or just non-functional?
Now why didn't I think of that before asking? Probably because no other Mac app works that way!
Of course I could have let my eye wander down the list when I was making new folders but no, I had to pretend I knew what I was doing because I'm an expert.
Thanks.
skoczy. There should be places where we can pay to throw broken computers against walls as a kind of 21st century therapy.
Mac El Cap, latest revision of Rig Manager.
I've made some new folders in my local library but can't delete them.
Renaming them seems pretty flakey, too.
Any clues?
Well, I would send the .tar file if I could find an email address on your site, which I can't.
Success. I'll email you the original .tar file. Thanks.
Thanks, I'll get on to it later today.
Looks like Windows only, though, which probably isn't going to work on a Mac!
Oozish's method seems the way to go but I'm ending up with a backup that the KPA says no way to.
I think it may be the compressing during re-RARing. I'm on a Mac and haven't found a utility to do it without compression so far.
Oh well. I did the rig button/boot deal too so hopefully it's actually ignored now.
Thanks folks, I'll do all of the above.
Even the dinosaurs laugh at me.
Every time I've made a backup on a USB stick I get a message saying there's one corrupt rig and that it shows up as a txt file in the USB stick so I can identify which rig it is. Thing is I've never been able to find this txt file anywhere so just ended up living with this minor issue.
But life, it changes, and I will no longer accept corruption!
Anyone know how to find this file and rig?
I'm on a Mac if that makes any difference.
Cheers,
Andy.
My bag is for sale. I bought it at the same time as the toaster but have never used it. Still in the box. I see they go for £80 so I'd want £50 including shipping. Paypal is good for me. PM me here, thanks.
Andy.
Selling my KPA. Perfect condition, home use only. Couple of years old. No dodgy LEDS! Will be reset to factory condition with latest OS. I got the bag with it but it's never been used.
£1100 inc. shipping unless it's over £20 in which case I'll want whatever extra it costs.
UK sale only although I might consider shipping to Europe.
PM me here.
Cheers,
Andy.
Edit: I'm away from home for a few days but should be available mid week onwards.
I had a PodHD for a moment or ten. I was sure I'd be able to coax a decent noise out of it. I was badly mistaken.

Just a simple noodle but he's got it all going on.
Yep, same here, although I was a little miffed the 2 way is either/or and not both together. I'm just glad I decided to try a new converter before anything else. It's obvious, I suppose. We spend a small fortune on everything else and then get the cheapest box to allow them to communicate. Lessons learned, eh.
