    Hi sjaak.
    Should be this profile:
    Rig: MS039-00
    Amp: Ampeg VT-40
    Cab: Vox VT40 4*10
    Mic: Beyer M130

    It's the only VT40 profile i found

Wow, thanks a lot !
    This place is awesome !
Has anybody of you been GAS'ing for an other amp since you have the Kemper ?
Can't believe this could ever happen to me 8)
    Totally happy !

Next week a profiling session is coming up, got a few goodies for you !

    Cheers,

    Reznor

    smokin' !!!

your profiles really nail the original amp !

    great job,

i gotta get hold of a Royer 121 to profile my Naylor SD60, caus no need to profile the Orangutan again with the great job you just did.

Except you want a profile with another cab ?

PS: i wish i still had my Grease Monkey ! (sold it caus' it was to loud !)

It depends on what you need.
I set it up like this:
    Standard Mode:
    1/6-5/10 changes rigs
    CTL1 switches Mod in Effects
    CTL2 switches Tuner
    Expression Pedal 1 - Wah
    Expression Pedal 2 - toggles Rotary speed ( i love that :D )
Expression Pedal Switch 1 - Pure Boost (in Effects)
Expression Pedal Switch 2 - Boost (in Stomps)

As i use a Volume Pedal between Guitar and KPA, no need for Volume control with the FC300.

Didn't mess around with Patch Mode, but if you've got any suggestions

    Cheers,

Absolutly love that amp, i'm goin' to profile my Orangutan in 2 weeks, (studio is booked already)
What cab are you using? the original with the Warehouse speakers ? oh, just saw it was the Combo, should be a Celestion then ?

Load the Rig - go to System/midisettings - set prgchg number, push assign - there you go.

Ansonsten gilt, wer lesen kann ist eindeutig im Vorteil !!!

Operation of a MIDI remote pedal

The Kemper Profiling Amplifier connects easily to MIDI remote pedals from any manufacturer. Simply connect your MIDI pedal to the MIDI IN jack of the KPA. There are three groups of MIDI messages that the KPA can receive:
    ♦♦
    Program Change
You can assign up to 128 program change numbers to your Rigs. The assignment is done in the SYSTEM Menu/Program # Assign.

Aber wer schlägt sich schon mit nem Referencemanual rum, wenn sich andere schon die Mühe gemacht haben X( - frei nach Guttenberg ! :P

Aber wir sind ja nicht so. :D

    Hi Fabio,

Honestly, I didn't have the opportunity to check many other monitors, and i bought the RCF because of good reviews and the fact it has the features i wanted.

The sound of the RCF corresponds to what's coming out of our PA (QSC system - don't - know which one).
That's what was important to me.
I can tweak my rigs on the RCF and that's what goes FOH. No more bad microphone positioning and nasty EQ Settings through the PA.

If i play smaller venues i just use this

with the RCF in the upright position and it works fine ! Here you have that amp in the room feeling and the RCF pushes really hard, if you want it to.

I think you have to tweak your rigs to make them sound really natural, just not to much of reverb and delay and there you go.

I found most of the factory presets too fancy, but if you bring them down to a really basic amp sound, you can't tell what's the Amp and what's the monitor.

You should check out the Blind test KPA QSC 2xK12 vs Hughes and Kettner Duotone valve amp here:

As there are multiple possibilities to use the KPA for live performances, this might be interesting !

Ok, here's my live setup ( for the moment :P )

    Guitar to:
Lehle Sunday Driver - Modtone Vintage wah - Ernie Ball Volume Pedal -
TheGigRig Midi8 looper/switcher (8 presets per bank) switches the Kemper + GigRig power supply

    Analogman KOT (Loop 1)
    Lovepedal Picklevibe (Loop 2)
    Neo Instruments Ventilator (Loop 3)
    Demeter Tremulator (Loop 4)

    KPA:
    Main stereo out to PA
    Monitor out to RCF NX-12SMA

I love the sound of my pedals, especially the Picklevibe and the Ventilator have an unique sound !

The GigRig gives me 8 presets per Bank what most other Midiswitchers don't.

The RCF is just great !

Since i'm using this setup, rehearsing and gigging has become less stressing (great sounds at lower volumes) and i setup in 5 minutes - soundcheck included ! The soundguys love the KPA !

To me the KPA is the best piece of guitar amplification gear i ever had !

    Just happy with it ! :D :D :D

Personally, I would like to see Kemper take the lead on this. As it is their unit, I would have thought they could determine that profiles will always be free no matter where they come from. I really do not like it all when a great public sharing concept such as the Kemper is then derailed by money grabbers who simply see an opportunity to exploit several things at once (1) Kemper, (2) this forum, (3) the users. This is not meant as a personal attack on Armin, but honestly the Kemper forum is not the place to be peddling YOUR commercial wares. Think about it for a moment: Kemper gives all of us the means to freely make and share profiles, they provide this forum for us to do it, and then you try to jump on the back of their success and commercialise it.

Not good and not in the spirit of how it was setup.
