Thanks for the efforts @meambobbo, site looks great!
New site looks great! And the special sale was just to tempting. You can never have enough profiles
One note Andy. If a user asks for a password reset the email senders name is just "wordpress". It goes right to spam folder (at least for me). Maybe you wanna change this in future.
Thomann is offering what you might be looking for: https://www.thomann.de/de/thon…Amp+%26+Foot+Ctl_366653_0
Though, shipping to RSA might be long and costly. Maybe pickup it up, as soon as you arrive in Europe?
Thank you for sharing!
Great, thank you!!
Hi Slay,
if you are an iPhone or iPad user, you could connect something like the Apogee Jam (http://www.thomann.de/de/apogee_jam_96k.htm). Quite flexible and great for travelling.
Knut
The stiffness comes from the fact, that the cable for remote is a standard network/lan cable. You could try flat patch cables. Not sure, whether these would be better for you.
Or get a Neutrik connector and build a custom cable at your defined length and specification (as I did).
Might it be, that parameter settings are not published for any potential copyright issues? And, settings are only return via pm to the genuine owner of each pedal?
iPad with iRealB or OnSong. Both quite handy apps. Though, I iRealB does not support lyrics.
I am selling my LF+ 12+. It is in excellent condition. This is THE mega-monster-super-midi-controller. Works like a charm with the KPA. As I am totally happy and satisfied with my KPR, the LF+12+ is just too much overkill for me.
Price, incl. shipping & insurance inside EU: 680,- EUR
NEW PRICE: 650,- EUR (reduced)
Please note, that current price is $899,- and tax and customs would need to be added. For EU an additional 200,- EUR roughly.
Location is Munich, Germany. Please feel free to test it personally prior purchase. Just PM me.
Great stuff. Loads of fun.
If a small footprint is required, I could recommend a pair of Adam A3X. Excellent near field monitors. Can be placed close to the wall. Excellent sound, especially in combination with some isolators e.g. MoPads.
Maybe you want to think about using the function "erase non favorites"
From the manual:
QuoteErase Non-Favorites
If you want to clean up your Profiler, you can use the “Erase Non-Favorites” button in the System menu. All rigs will be erased, except for “Favorites” and “My Rigs”. We strongly recommend that you create a backup before you use this function.
Steps could be:
1. Do a full backup
2. Mark all files to be kept as favs (and only these)
3. Go to view favorites
4. Unmark those to be removed
Follow instructions above from reference manual.
WS excellent tutorial. Thanks for your efforts in putting this together!
Having both, the KPR and a LF 12+, I say both are very excellent devices.
It would really depend on your requirements and the level of complexity/detail for switching required. Especially, if one would like to control 3rd party units via midi.
Since I got my KPR three months ago, I have never used my LF 12+ again. The variety of features available is a bit oversized for my requirements. And, I am thinking about selling it now.
Customer support is excellent with both companies. And LF does have also a good community. Joptunes/Sean here is an expert, and was very helpful to me.
I could recommend Coffee Break Grooves. Very good quality and worth the price. They also have some tracks for free on Youtube.
One might check out the YT channel from user QuistJam. Also some decent quality to be found here.
But it is also great fun, to build your one backing tracks, using your Kemper for rhythm & bass.
