Not bad Idea.. Often I thought about the inside part of a 4x12 .
now the question is:
Who knows some girls that would be SO (as above) kind to pass me a beer whenever I want.. during Live or at reshers?

yes toaster version fit (and Looks IMHO) better/perfect in a Classic Marshall Head expecially if You used to play it with W/4x12 (as usual for someone)
then you have some space to fullfill eventually... a Power amp And just Rock!
a friend of mine is helping me in building a Custom Pannel to change the Front one.
Prospect to Really cool..
Anyway..
It's Harder to fit JCM (SLASH in this Prospectiacls pics) chassi in the back hole of the KPA

Needless to say We're so Lucky they invented a way to box the Whole fullstack (and many more) in a perfect Isobox Size..
like the name it self ''Brutus''.. Ugly and Good|!!Delicious PS..prolly You Don't Know that nearby where I lived, someone inveted a kind of ''biscuits'' that got the same name
in Italian "Brutti e Buoni"
http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brutti_e_BuoniPriceless!!!

as I Said, Iooking at the Visual Aspect.
Anyway it's not a problem to have it one way or another (it's just more 'logical' for the ''signal-flow chart'')
even if changed it back to the original position.
Honestly I didn't had time to Play It since then, but if You're suffering the same curiosiy Ill let You know if I found it more ..Noisy or whatever. -
Bentornato Davide

yes great amp and Profiles.
-
Thanks a Lot man!
yes , basically is how I immagine it will be, but anyhow interested to get differences Playing with them..
I'm going to di some 'November Test'.. in a Couple af Months I hope at least.
I'l try them as soon as Ready.
Thanks Again mate -
cool video anyway..
maybe it's just that Unit they also use for That Demo Session..and maybe that Guy reported some ''noisy'' and they though to avoid any risk and change position. -
from Namm 2011..I had to serch a bit.

Quoted from "ckemper"
Are you guys using IEM straight from the headphone outputs?
Never Tryed IEM till now
my current giggin situationGuitar -> KPA
Headphones (not so cheap but old -> KPA Headphone Out (Sometimes with a lil of space, sounds good here )
KPA Monitor Out (basically just for Live or generate feedback in studio)-> AFD100 and Marshall 2x12 or 4x12 or isocab (depending from stage and how's playing With mostly)
KPA Main Out -> FOH
Aux In mostly goes to FOH by kpa Main (level 4/5) No space here!
sometimes also in Monitor to Cabinets..not very often
Depending what Track is in playback.
Sometimes I may need a bit of space for Aux into Cab/s
for me semms it's ok how it works now. -
well..it could be a sort of Utlimate head (vers.1.X)
in my case (haha funny) incuding Audio interface, wireless, DI box..
in a Marshall JCM800 sizeit fits Perfect!
and the's also space for other, cables, power supplier
beverages
Could it Works for someone else?

I was looking at the graphical aspect of my KPA 1st version..
in this pic I see that those Female 6,3 Jack are inverted in position if compared with mine,
[Blocked Image: http://www.americanmusical.com/ItemImages/Large/KEM%20KPA.jpg]
and I also remeber some early Video Demo With Kpa like this picso, I suppose it was desined/projected in a way (Input on Left Bottom) but later reversed for some reason. Why?
could it be that the position of the POWER Input ( exactly behinde the left bottom Jack) may cause some Noise and it was better to Move the Instrument Input as far as possible?
Like a classical Amp?if not.. it was more logical in Visual Terms to laeve in as in the pic above.
From Left Bottom the visual sound chaine moves clockwise,
it goes to Main Mode switch, just above,
than to noise gate and Input controls on the left upper corner,
than moves to right, in front pedals, Amp and Cab, FX loop pedal.. and it ends With Master Output
and then back to the bottom part to switch rigs and Go Out with headphones. So what's the reason behinde this?
Anyone listend some real Noise, or maybe just in some Particoular conditions ?
Did Anyone already try to switch Back to ''the original'' ? -
-
Did anyone tried to Switch Your Main Output to Mod Mono or Mod Stereo?
No SorrY Forget About his...
I'was having an issue then Solved.. Sorry!!! -
Wow..it's cool.. but Why the Rack version??
need more space in depth.:22 cm(8.66 inches) Vs the Head's: 17.3 cm (6.81 inches)
the whole external measure in depth of a plexy/jcm800 case is 20 cm
maybe a Mesa head Fits different but.. -
nice tip to add a moudation to fool that 'audio detection'
(funny related topicdid you also try to invert L and R channels? I wander if it may works the same)
-
talking about Anything related with KPA..
it happened that I was looking for a sort of ''on line tablature''..
I found a strange one that Converts Your TEXT into Notes (still had to understand what kind of conversion or translation it uses)
Anyway, it generates also a midi file of the ''music'' created in this way.
so i tried a bit and oped this midi with Fruity loops
I start assing different FX to this, an arpeggiators..delay.. than it was frustrating to let it sound as it was, So, intead of modify it..
I start on my cheap keyboards via midi..and try to better menage Musically that cool Fx
it ended 20 minuted ago with this
Anyway it's more musical than the text I put into "this"
(Witch was a Famous Song I Won't say!)I hope You like it! GoodNight!
ah! the title is Dedicated to my lil window here in my studio, that now seems to say''there are the stars OutHere..It's Late! Go Sleep!'' -
yes no kemper stuff there..
totally estranged form KPA

(and that could be due to differences in playing while refining rather than the the guitar itself).
yes Sure..
if anyone is strumming in his Own Way..., and Often seems also that my 'different' way of Strumming..from day by day, may change, changes and bring to slightly differnces results.
well it Would Be usefull to have a prerecorded generic of More Specific part to run..(the extremism of Lazyness or just a way to Standardize Our own Refining process?? ) -
yes, more generic..
I got.
yes, not bad.
maybe a cool features could be Use Your USB port to load a Sample (DI guitar PreRecorded) that Goes out to the whole Chain and Helps as Semi-Automated Custom Refining Clip.
it would avoid the need to get cabled for Reamping when Profiling/Refining ! Sounds Cool! -
It would be cool, if Dan gives us another four profiles to test - without NAMING it so that we don´t know, which one is the rough or the refined (Perhaps name it Pro1, Pro2 aso.).
Wonder if the same came out and the refined profiles are the best sounding?
If he want, he can give us two times the same profile, may some of us still can hear a difference? In a week or so he can tell us, what the profiles are.
I can Send you the Same 4 Profiles (or not?? Whuahaha) just Renamed.. (it takes less time) and then you're Blinded
