Yes, great idea!
And in case we press 'lock' for the cab block - then all our rigs are ready for clean out guitar cab usage.
Nice!

Thanks for the updates, looking forward to having a play

Sweet, thanks!

The latency in preset mode is not noticeable to me. In profiling mode there is a definite latency, is that what you are hearing in the videos?

Sounds superb!!! Really nice tone and playing.
If you're in the sharing mood......

Clips sound great man, looking forward to playing with the profiles.

Thanks
It was Toneclone's Rectifier Profile from here
I almost certainly used a combo of the original cab and Tills cabs over the tracks.

Hi guys,
I think I might have fixed the problem. I performed the following steps from Armin's website and I've not managed to get the KPA to crash even whilst pressing midi buttons for a couple of minutes, it's early days but I'm keeping my fingers crossed here.
To reset the (corrupt) System settings do like this:
(Note: All your system settings will be erased - but not your rigs)
Switch the main knob to off
wait a few seconds
hold the 'System' key
while still holding the 'System' key - switch KPA to tuner and wait for it to say resetting system settings (or similar)Booted up went through the first time setup menu then
Reset the (corrupt) Midi settings do like this:
Switch the main knob to off
wait a few seconds
hold the 'Quick' key
while still holding the 'Quick' key - switch KPA to tuner and wait for it to say resetting midi settings (or similar)I also set my KPA to run on midi channel 1 only which is mirrored on my MFC. The MFC had a factory reset and all of the IAs/Expression pedals disabled so it's not a full test yet but it was crashing with this setup on the MFC before.
I'll test again tomorrow when I'm not getting grief from the missus for clicking my MFC buttons whilst she tries to sleep

I have already tried a factory reset (hold system button while booting) Still buggy.
Does this procedure delete the rigs as well?
Cheers

Not MOP I know but I did a couple of black album mixes, not trying to replicate the tone exactly but just to get a good boogie tone. You should be able to get close to MOP if that's your thing.

Hi Spence,
thank you very much for this profile! It's really awesome with my Strat. Like it very much.
Joe
No probs man, glad you like it

Yep, fine here, Funny....
Have you ever done a factory reset Davide? I'm wondering if that's what I need to do to clear up a few issues. If so what's the best way to do this?

Here is a post I did on TGP before I upgraded my account. I'm really digging this profile through studio monitors, can't wait to get a real FRFR system and hear it through larger speakers.
My daughter is home sick today so I have a little chance to do more testing as I work from home - although she needs a diaper change...
I did a lot of cleaning of profiles last night, so now my goal is really trying to dig in deeper. I moved the XLR's so I have KPA straight into Adam A5's and man, what a difference! In the room, here, it sounds incredible. Recorded into audio interface analog out / in some gets lost in translation. A lot has to do with gain staging, suboptimal pre's, conversion, but it's "ok". So, if you were in the room with me you could tell that this profile (user profile from Kemper sharing site) brought just a touch of "room" with it in the profile. Maybe this is accounting for some of the experiences we Kemper players are describing, even through FRFR. I actually dialed most of the tweaks BACK to 12 oclock after hearing this direct into my nearfields. I can't even imagine how good this will sound into FRFR with 12" driver.
Now, it's completely dry AND there is some puff/woofiness going on and a little scratchiness in the high end, especially when hitting chords hard. But in the room, this sounds pretty damn close to a nice Blackface Bassman imho. And for recording, it's close enough. Keep in mind, no verb, no EQ, etc... Let me know what you think (good or bad)http://soundcloud.com/gasp100/kemper-1964-bassman
Sounds great, really nice clip, love your work.

Why do you find it not stable enough for live use? Had around 6 rehearses with it and not one single crash or any issue....the few problems that are left only occur when you tweak deeply. Crashes at home do not spoil your gigs.
OK, the perform-mode is something that I'd like to see too and I'd like to know what it is basically but that's just an improvement and nothing that I really need.Mine crashes quite often and unpredictably with my MFC101 midi controller, I had to switch rigs manually at rehearsal and 45 seconds seem like 45 minutes when you're supposed to be playing a solo in the middle of a song . I realise that this doesn't affect all users but Kemper confirmed that other MFC users are experiencing the same issues. The fact fact that a midi controller can crash a device in the first place makes the mind boggle but that's another story

Guess you mean the pure boost, the lead boost is not neutral: it has tone control.
I actually like both, for neutral go for pure boost, the lead boost allows to add or remove a little bite. Thanks for clearing that mystery up
-
The pure boost or the lead boost??...or do you have already the new FW with morph capacity..?
Hahah, I'm not next to my KPA, I thought it was something like that [Blocked Image: http://kemper-amps.com/library/wcf/images/smilies/unsure.png] I'll check and get back to you
-
The pure lead boost in front of the amp works well for a neutral boost Just push it a few dBs so make an amp sing.

To be fair, Guitartone is probably right in the fact that it's probably different departments/people working on debugging the code versus creating the new black version. I'm sure that the software guys are working hard to keep us all happy
