in my case - yes - I experience the same problem, since I updated to El Capitan and 1.5.41 (posted in a neighbouring thread). I was on Mavericks and 1.5.39 for a while and had no problems.

through a powered hub, BUT it has been working since day one in this configuration without any problem until I updated RM and OSX recently.
Plus - everything is fine after a reboot until the pc enters sleep mode. This is very like a driver issue in combination with OS changes.I don't say it is easy to find, but in my experience - stupid stuff aside - 90% to 95% of pc problems are software related.
-
I have that issue too and I did not have it before I updated to the latest RM version (41) and El Capitan 10.11.5. I am still on the 3.3 release firmware.
I need to investigate it further but so far - putting the PC to sleep or switching the Kemper off/on does not help. Only a reboot helps.
My cable is short, i tried different ports but most importantly - it worked till i made the changes.I will run a few more tests and open a support ticket, once I can reproduce the circumstances when this happens.

Come on guys. The Kemper is completely "apolitical" - let's leave it like that, please.

is that a feature request?
-
@boblaz Have you actually tried the community editor project?

@meambobbo
I have been hoping for an improved search since the very first beta of RM. Good ideas!@Michael_dk
I understand the need for "not becoming too complicated", but I never really liked these checkboxes and dropdown menues, because whenever I really needed a more complex search, they were too simple or too limiting.
I like what you call the Google method. The whole tagging leads to strings (texts) so in essence we would only need a few logical operators and a subset of regular expressions to create powerful search statements. What I would find equally important though, is a way to save the search results (or at least the search statement). As soon as I know I have a perfect search statement for all jcm 800s with gain >4 from Sinmix, Andy or Pete, I could part with folders almost completely - or at least use them only for rigs that I modify for my own purposes

I quote from Burkhard's post:
"In rare situations 4.0.0 and 4.0.1 Public Beta could damage Rigs and Performances during upload to Rig Manager. Users experiencing error messages when loading particular Rigs or Performances should restore the backup created before upgrading to 4.X."
In case you have some data corruption restoring a backup from before you went to 4.0.x might be the only reliable solution.
Just saw you fixed it - OK - Congrats - happy for you!

Is there a particular reason why you post a bug in the general questions area "Everything you like to know about the Kemper" instead of here:

?

"I won't indulge in a wordy lecture addressing all half understood theory's/opinions verbalised as facts."
Nice attitude!

Thank You Kemper team!
After only monitoring closely over the last 2 weeks I dare to update. Let's start a new "experiences" thread

Yes, thank you for sharing this, Michael! I did not understand everything (as I am not an engineer and my physics classes happened to be in the 80s), but it appears this video is totally worth being watched a few times.

Make sure you installed the latest or at least a 3.3 compatible version of RIG-MANAGER.
Please note Rig-Exchange is the internet based exchange service of (free) user profiles, that Kemper is providing. It appears to me that you are talking about the database software Rig Manager. Also please register your Kemper (in case you didn't) and search the RigManager sub forum (in the private area) for more details and common problems. This has been asked and discussed a lot.
Have fun with your Kemper!

Feels to me like there are hundreds of good choices you can make.
Install Rig manager and start auditioning. You may find a profile for yourself that is much better suited to what you actually looking for than any recommendation. My personal favs are: Morgan AC 20, AC30 from Andy's custom shop and the Dumble pack from Michael Britt, but there are many many more ....
Just do - it's fun!

20 to 40 on my Kemper, but I currently use only 10 of them.
The rest (including a local copy of RE) is organized in RM on my Mac.
