I believe I checked more gainy amps - but definitely the sound was NOT there when I was muting the strings.
even with no gate stomp and the noise gate at '0'?
please make a short recording and send me a pm, please.
thanks.

Best advice I can give you: load one of the common favourite profiles
here are a few more Rig Watch (on Twitter and here) - suggestions welcome
most musicians/producers I know that have a Win OS, made the switch to 7 a while ago.
me included.
all you have to do is to disable all the fancy visuals and streamline it a bit just like you would XP for a DAW.
besides, many use the switch to upgrade to a 64bit OS and adding lots of RAM is the single best thing you can do to improve DAW functionality.
Maybe this thread would be better served in the trouble shooting section of the forum...
good point,
thread moved.
guys,
let's not turn this into a witch hunt.
manners, please
please don't let this degrade into one of 'those' forums.
He's asking for help, not bashing the product.
He wouldn't be the first one that's unfamiliar with the way a raw tube amp sounds.
The only way I know to approximate the sound of a twelve string is to layer a guitar in standard tuning with one in the Nashville (high strung) tuning - meaning you use strings that are an octave higher than your regular E - A - D - G strings.
Everything else doesn't really work, for the reasons you already described.
I am using an Guild S-100.
those are sweet!
not helping, I know, but it had to be said!
could you get a rig from the RigExchange that is considered to be very good from a majority of users here, like the
Boogie MarkIIC+ (new) by Djemass for example,
disable the delay, record a few riffs with it, post it and let us know what exactly it is you don't like?
thank you.
like others said:
make sure the noise gate isn't set unreasonably high
and that the output eq is neutral
Well, the Kemper comes with a pile of Merrow profiles, and one labelled Loomis, so....
and this one isn't just labeled Loomis to give you an idea of what it sounds like - it is a profile of his very own recording setup at home!
that's an old thread
RigManager supports subfolder.
additionally, the available view filters - sort by date, sort by author, favourites and non-favourites - already give the user many options.
could also very well be an issue of the room.
most likely because they are spelled Rockerverb, not Rockaverb (or is there a Guy Ritchie signature model I'm not aware of)
also, rigs are sometimes tagged a little differently. I can find two rigs with Rockerverb and one with Rockverb tags in the RX.
It's generally a good idea to broaden your search (just Orange, for example, but uncheck the cab checkbox), if you don't find anything.
If a guitars intonation is really bad then basically the guitar is never in tune.
guitars never really are in tune, no matter what
someone in this forum did make measurements, but if I've learned one thing in the years of recording, mixing and performing:
never trust numbers, trust your ears.
the EQ in the Stack section is our version of a typical tonestack - and it sounds quite good!
switching it pre and post the Amp slot can give you additional ways to form the distortion (pre) or overall sound (post).
simply use a Studio EQ or Graphic EQ pre or post the Stack section for more options, including frequencies and Q.
sweet!
many thanks!
great way to introduce yourself!
Will the characteristics be available in the "autowah" fx option?
absolutely, since the 'Autowah' is not another effect, just enable the 'touch' mode in any given Wah setting (Pedal Mode, page 2/3).
once set to 'touch', you'll get the addition parameters 'Touch Attack', Touch Release' and 'Touch Boost' to (fine) tune the Autowah (or, better: volume envelope-driven Wah) to your taste.
Agreed !
Please more delay's and iff posible old tape Delay's to create "Echo's off the past"
have you tried the local presets of the delay?
(select the delay slot, then turn 'Browse')
there are quite a few delays there that are re-creations of famous vintage echos.
I also made this one setting that mimics the sound I used to get from my tape delay (gone now)
Mix 57.2
Delay 225ms
Ratio 4:4
Feedback 41.3
Bandwidth 6.6
Center Freq +0.2
Mod 0 (or to taste)
