For the record: You just need to place presets into the "Shared" Folder and import them, they are automatically categorized and sorted to the appropriate sections.
You don't need to manipulate backups.
I hereby retract my previous statement and claim the opposite!
I have a couple of profiles of my Friedman (with a good, broken in Scumback H75, their take on a Greenback) that are golden
lovely!
great story!
thanks.
now, ... about those Friedman and Dr Z profiles...
Ich glaube ein JCM.
'JCM' isn't a very precise statement
besides the more obvious JCM800, 900 and 2000 distinction, there are also differences within the series of the most likely candidate, the JCM800, itself.
last but not least, the cabinet plays a huge role in the sound produced.
no idea how this information can be obtained, tho.
maybe some live pictures will reveal some info.
got the famous Whipple inductor.
I'll mod the Crybaby again.
so far, I only got one offer and a lot of requests.
I guess that means people are happy with the Wah (presets) as is.
hi.
which FW are you using and did you re-install the factory rigs?
we recently re-balanced the factory content.
please record a short example of the issue you are experiencing and mail it to me along with the rig causing it.
I'll look at it once I'm back from the Messe.
please pm me your email adress.
thank you.
you could set Monitor or Direct Out to 'Stack', or 'Master Mono' or 'Master Left' and 'Master Right' respectively and use the Main Output in the 'Delay/Reverb wet' setting.
press and hold the button labeled 'Master', the settings are on page 1/5
like this Eq from Tom scholtz who also knows a thing or two about guitar tone , as evidenced form boston s 1st album
its 12 band and 7 bands are from 500-4k concentrated in the mids
interesting - I haven't seen this kind of EQ before.
10khz is NOT a standard value for distorted guitar there is nothing in that range and 31 hz is sub bass also useless for distorted guitars and typical eq pedals for guitars with 7 bands or less dont go as high as 10 khz
the mxr Kerry King graphic EQ has both 31Hz and 16kHz bands - I'd say the man knows a thing or two about distorted guitar tone
there are graphic EQ pedals for guitar out there, that go as low as 31Hz and as high as 16kHz, so I'd say the range is fine.
Having 10kHz available can come in handy, it's a pretty standard freq. to have for guitar (especially acoustic) and bass.
the rigs from the RigExchange don't load when you double-click them?
lower the SPDIF volume until your interface gets a good level. (press and hold 'Master' - page 5/5)
mine is by -0.0dB by the way and everything is fine.
is your Master LED turning red?
Don I phoned my buddy. The secret of this profile is that the SM57 used to profile is a cheap chinese copy of a SM57 !!!! He told me they sound very different but this one was better to get a creamy sound !!!! Hahaha!! Amazing !
haha, thanks for the info.
we have been aware of this request from the beginning, no further need to bump the thread
If you think it is a good profile, you are free to add it to a future Kemper pack, as I think I am the only one here to have profiled a MarkIIC+
Cheers
Djemass
that's very nice of you!
we might just do that.
I'll contact you before it happens.
thanks!
Don
wow!
snappy! sounds great - thanks!
great profile - I like it even better dry
is that just one SM57 as tagged? amazing!
care to share your micing technique?
nevertheless, you're using a Pure Booster post-amp, is that for a switchable solo boost? otherwise you could just use the Rig Volume parameter, they do the exact same thing.
I had to disable the Booster and lower the Volume, since I was pushing the Output quite a bit.
