The tag under the Performance name is the name of the rig loaded to that slot. I don't know if you can change this.
sure:
press Rig -> Show Tag -> Edit

OK I copy a slot from say performance 1 and put it in performance 5. I edit the amp and cab and rename the slot say Diezel. I then save the performance. I then move to another performance then go back to performance 5 and the slot is back to its original name. Is this a bug or have I done something wrong???
Also i've noticed that the name under the performance name doesn't change either. Even when the slot is saying the right name it doesn't change at all. Maybe i'm missing something. if so I hope someone can put me right
The names displayed in the five slots at the top are changed by pressing 'Arrange Slots' and then 'Rename Slot', not by editing amp, cab or rig name.
then save the performance.
just tried it here - works.
The "Marshall Golub Crunc" by Marko comes to mind (Rig Exchange)
also thread moved
I'll give you a golden star for being such a good boy and telling Daddy you saw 2 double post today
what?
don't patronize me.
you posted two requests that could have easily be combined in one thread. and then you posted them in two different subsection.
that's four posts where only one was needed.
I was being nice by telling you that I considered them double posts. In the future these will just be deleted without a heads up.
You might want to spend some time reading in this forum to get accustomed to the way people interact here.
double double post
double post
I will but will word all future posts will more care. Thanks.
always good policy on teh intrwebz!
I just read the whole thread, but I won't be commenting on the details.
I'd just like everybody to calm down a bit, have a cup of tea and please remember that we don't need drama and hyperbole in this forum.
Sadly, there are plenty of other forums where behaviour this is rather normal, but I'd like this forum to be the exception.
This thread went from an inquiry about the availability (although I wouldn't use the word 'daft' in the future for such a question - it sets the wrong tone right away) to 'bye, I'm leaving', so clearly something went wrong.
Not pointing any fingers, just asking all the current and future participants of this thread to read through all of it in a calm fashion and rethinking their posts and statements.
I hope I don't have to post here again
Please take the Shiva heavy and clean into consideration. These two cover the whole range from warm clean to crushing high gain.
will do.
Shame on me for not checking the list before then
nonono, don't get me wrong.
I thought it was funny that we posted the same thing at the same time, but I really appreciate every suggestion made here!
Mago - 6505+ Red3 - Marco Cudan
Awesome high gain rig for some serious metal shredding!
added it 2mins before your post to the list - haha! (see first post)
seems like I was right to do so!
Bogner Shiva by R.U.Sirius is awesome !!!

these profiles are being mentioned a lot - I'll have to pick 3 or even 4 from his set and break my 'rule' to only tweet about one rig at a time.
choosing the top profiles of a set is a lot of fun - but also surprisingly hard
bump
changed my mind - made sticky
How do you get the KPA effects to follow you when you change rigs? Like delays trails and such?
how exactly do you mean 'follow'?
the Profiler has automatic spillover, so the delay and reverb will decay naturally when you switch rigs.
IF you love loopers, you might enjoy an interview with Phil Keaggy. It's interesting but boy does he get off starting around the 44:20 mark.. give it a listen.. what a player!!!

excellent!
I love the wiki!
thanks!
Ok, I'll bite... what is a "clawfinger"??
When I attempt to make a clean profile with cabinets turned off
this I don't quite get.
do you make a profile from the preamp and then turn off the cabinet in the Profiler?
please elaborate.
Maybe the KPA can't do a direct non-cab preamp direct sound?
other and I have successfully profiled completely clean mic pres and instrument pres.
just keep the cabinet of the Profiler enabled, even tho it is a DI profile.
I've not tried it, because my classical doesn't have a pickup, but, there something on the rig exchange that may be useful. It has gotten five 5-star reviews:
Aura Ny 7
good call.
