For sure the TC 2290 is an effect-monster with state-of-the-art-quality, is it still available?
It has been discontinued but you can still find one used between $1500.00 and $2000.00.

Would be interesting to hear from guys who prefer "latter" setting how they use Performance mode and what would be the benefit of this setting for them.
Display MoreNot sure if there is a similar thread, but... What do you plug into the front of your kemper?
Let's get pics going and see some amazing guitars/basses/whatever
Here's what I mainly plug in...
Wow! Could you speak more about this beauty?
As I mostly work by songs the autoload slot 1 is better for my use, but I can see the benefit of the latter option if you work your performances by amps. So, if it's possible, having both autoload options would be great.
As nightlight said it looks to be a routing problem. If you receive the signal in the mix console of your software you should be able to asign the audio from these channels to the outputs you use for monitoring. It is most likely not a hardware issue.
if you guys are still wondering how to spend your time (or how to actually make use of your gear) this might serve as an example. exquisite kemper fun. nice tune
We should never forget that those devices have been made to make music and have great fun!!!
Very great tune and playing guys!!!
Display MoreThe KPA SHOULD be compared with what it is advertised as. Does it replicate amps with accuracy or not?
Comparisons with competition have more to do with personal needs after that criteria is met.
And being totally frank, owning a KPA or FXII as an amateur musician is overkill and lavish to say the least.
You can compare all day long each unit's merits, but it's personal skill in playing guitar and/or your engineering ears that are the limiting factors.
We SHOULD spend more time talking about how to become better players and listeners than differences in these units or what they might lack.
For professionals, both units get the job done. Even for many professionals, they each might rightly be considered "lavish".
I think you resume it well. The KPA do very well what it is suppose to do and I'm happy with it. I'm so satisfy that I don't feel the need to own other devices to compare, including AFX firmware xx. And yes, owning both is overkill for the vast majority of musicians. My backup is a Zoom G3 and I never had to use it in a gig!
The fact that it fits in the back of the kemper head is really good, including the power supply.
Yes a plus would be if they had included a power switch in the design.
I don't think that the Stealth really fit in the back of the kemper, I mean you can put it there but it's far to be what I would call a great fit.
The man has lost any possible ounce of my esteem with his incredible behaviour in the years. The same goes for mods at TGP closing threads whenever lese-majesty was committed or even evoked.
I remember that, and I totally agree, it was ridiculous!
I am impress by a guy like Andy from Amp Factory who NEVER feels threaten by new comers and even try to learn something from this situation.
Tape Saturation live? Funny idea..... On most concerts I'm glad if I can hear the guitar-player at all....
LOL!
I think that the ISP is rackable so it would be a better fit for KPA rack.
Soundcloud was down today. The link works now..
Well done! The guitars sit very well in the mix1
I did never like attached expression pedal because I prefer to choose exactly where I place it. For the lefty users amongst us having the pedal at the right is not especially interesting.
I have a Timeline which I use only in studio, I like to keep my live rig as simple as possible so nothing in the loop and nothing in front apart from my Fulltone Wah.
BTW the Timeline is a great device, very inspiring!
My bad... My browser didn't want to go there but now it works!... Sorry! I have been alarmist for nothing!
Still exist? I thank they were on some new projects...
ISP Stealth
KPA-Solutions Camplifier
Question, apologies if its been answered, how is the tuner activated? Would prefer a tuner button than a tap tempo button.
If I well remember the original proposition the same button did both.
For me it is obvious that Fractal lost a lot of potential sales because of the Kemper, but the opposite is also thru. The difference is that Fractal had no competition in this specific market (high tech amp simulation) before the arrival of the Profiler, so they had to work hard (and they did) to keep up and stay at the top. Top that they now share with Kemper. All of this is very good for the consumers who get a faster evolution of this kind of technologie.
