This thing is a mighty tone beast that he created, as is my way, i've rolled off a lot of the gain and tweaked, and its now this very responsive, sinewy thing, really cool, i think, hope you guys like it too, all credit to Andy, he was the masterchef

    Hi matey

blimey you know your stuff and then some, hugely impressive, and amazing sound, as I said to you the other day you're blowing the capability of this unit wide open. I've loved it for the last few months, the best unit I've ever owned/played, but you are adding a whole new dimension, turning it from an amp profiler into a whole new instrument.

CK - grab this guy, he can make you even more famous in our world

Andy, keep on playing, you're a star and I'm delighted to have met you

Well done everyone, this has to be the way forward, when, as a community, we agree that someone has gone the extra mile for our benefit, certainly the case with Andy and Mats on the other thread. The more help and support we give these guys, the more they can also help us, thanks to everyone for rising to do the right thing

    contribution sent

come on guys, anyone like Mats or Andy on And44 who is spending time and effort well beyond the expected to produce results that enrich our lives deserve some small donation as a thank you for their efforts

just think how much they are bringing into your guitar playing enjoyment, and what you might have to pay to get a day of it even if we didn't have this amazing machine and these brilliant guys helping feed it

All i can say is thank you, this collection is without doubt the finest we've had so far, and thats not to belittle the efforts of some other now famous profilers, but these have taken the unit to another level, absolutely magnificent, a truly generous gift to a whole bunch of people you've never met, but who are all in your debt. Thankyou

all i can say is WOW, what an amazing collection, i'll take anything, and everything you are able to do

and if you want to charge a tenner for the full amp pack, you'll have my full support, this is access to stuff that most of us can only dream about (and often have)

    thanks so much

    Mats, these are amazing

you indicated I thought that you wanted some financial help from us to support this, how much and how do we do this?

If guys like you are going to give time and effort producing such amazing results for us, we really should stand up and provide some sort of compensation if costs are incurred, come on guys

    how should we do it

    let us know, cheers

wow, we are all getting lively

personally if someone is prepared to go the extra mile to get the best equipment in the best environment to produce the best samples of iconic amps, then i have no problem with them asking for a realistic amount for me to use those, i guess in the current workflow, anyone could fiddle with those and then post them for everyone to have free, down to ethics and values, but all of this would be sorted by simple market forces and whether, and how much, people were prepared to pay

some of you kemper profiling heroes have given me profiles that have lit up my guitar playing life, the hardware would be just that without the profiled soul some of you guys are producing, and clearly doing it with passion, care and huge effort, so I for one am happy to reward that effort and commitment if asked, the only niggle would be the thought of creating some sort of try/hear before you buy place, i'm sure we've all been slaving away trying to rationalise the flow of new stuff to ensure we keep a workable amount of profiles on the machine

    anyway, just my thoughts

    cheers all

all I can say is i've recently tried really really hard to rationalise my sound bank down, and i've still got over 200, its in a recent folder posted under a separate thread, my ears are bleeding, but I will have a look when i get home and see if its possible to isolate 5 heroes (maybe10!!), this is just such an amazing machine

Been working for ages to try and get on top of this feast of amazing sounds we have from the launch set, and then some of you very special people keep posting more and more amazing profiles. I've made it my mission this weekend to finally get this whole thing in some sort of order, i've been very ruthless in trying to get to a set that is more modest, and tweaked a load to my taste (not everyones i'm sure) and present to you my humble collection (so far), theres 19 new ones come in overnight. This machine is amazing but I want to get back to playing guitar, not auditioning sounds, so this is the bedrock of my stuff, and I have not listened to them all back to back, my ears are too tired (is there such a thing?), so apologies for some tonal repetition, but i've tried to cover all bases

    Couple of things to note.

I use a Duet and have it set at the pro input level -4, which means all the volumes of these rigs are set to play for that, if they're too loud, i'm sure you can adjust the master volume and lock it for when you go through them

I have created a nominal 4 stage system - 1 being clean - 4 being mayhem, and attempted to get them in the right place so i can compare them in their groups, rather than between models, if you see what i mean. This has been done as I go along so i am sure there'll be some that are not quite right, but its a start

have fun, i hope some of them are enjoyed by some of you

    cheers

very tasty, love this on the edge warm chewy sound, imho its the most expressive range, coming from clean through to warm and distorted with just a bit of extra punch on the picking or tweak of the guitar volume, lovely sounding amp and great profile

there are so many great ones turning up recently, the recent matchless, the tupelo and carr rambler have also been excellent, spoilt for choice (not a good thing for a musician!)

fantastic effort, well done, there is so much out here now it feels like a full time job just to keep on top of it all, i hope chris is bringing some form of mac/pc editor soon.

Question for the masters, i can unpack a backup by putting .rar in front of it, if I then edit the rig library is there any way i can repack it as a backup so i could then manage the content in groups, rather than what feels like 100's of rigs all the time?
