I bought this amp at Andertons, it based on the 1Watt JTM 50th. As Lee said the inputs are dimed and the JTM145 got a revoicing.
It sounds awesome, best Marshall sound since ages IMO and it looks stunning. A 18 Watt version would be absolute killer!!
The profiles we did nailed it - I prefer a Les Paul or a Tele, the vol knob rolled back. Great Blues and Rock tone.
cheers
N
Hey Armin, yepp lots of fun profiling the little JTM....and the Fuchs custom profile
Well, it's not like vintage amps, the sound won't be better the older they are. Maybe something wrong with the speaker?
The earlier you're profiling........ Please don't share this link with your profile....
I think it would be nice if somebody of tec support chimes in for some clearing. At least all these devices running out of warranty next year and if dead leds re-ocurring we will be charged for repair.
I also thought they would change the complete board - but don't think so now! Whatever it is (and I'm still with the leds....) tec-support should give us the hint as we can manage the out of warranty repairs. Mine is bought early Feb 2012 - the vintage whitehead
So many users in tons of posts affected by this issue - get in chaps.....
cheers
N
Well, I had that issue, 4 dead leds repaired with a turn around of 13 days with Thomann.
The day after it arrived another led died. now I will wait until warranty expires and
send it in a week before. Annoying.
Cheers
N
WOW,
nice profiles....
all the texture captured
cheers
N
Well, I got mine on a big "T" repair tour for 10 days for 4 defective Leds on the gain.
But 3 days after returning I've got now one died Led on Bass. WTF
I thought they've changed the whole board but I guess they only change single defective Leds at Thomann.
Or do they send them to Kemper HQ????
Anyone else ???
I hate to send it back AGAIN!!!!
cheers
N
Hey Paco,
my Sandy waiting on OD Food of your amp - how're you doing?
rock on
N
A great one toooo....
noodling now for one hour on blues backing tracks - this one ruleeez!!!!!!!!!
please don't stop profiling this amp, the texture is perfect. Maybe the OD without Mid Boost???
thanks a lot, well done
cheers
N
That would be nice, the amp cleans up really nice. May we can have slightly more OD....
I love these Fuchs amps, tried a Black Jack MKII. A great amp with a lot of great tones.
One for the real deal
saludos
N
Hey Paco,
these profiles are excelllent, the OD MID BOOST is outstanding, my les paul sticks to it.
NICE!!!
Hi Sean,
great Profiles - the JTM is so nice but honestly I'm missing the 121......
cheers
N
Hi Sean,
have you planned any Input bridged profiles of your beloved JTM ???
BTW nice tune waraba....
cheers
N
Hi Sean,
well done, I like the 121 - really nice - so much texture. This must be a real great amp. I've tested it with some Les Pauls, awesome. It really cleans nicely with the Guitar Vol Pot.
The mix with the SM57 is more compressed in the mids and doesn't sound open here like the 121 does. I like this profile with a strat.
BTW How loud did you profile this amp??? INSAAAAANE????
again - great job, waiting for all your updates
cheers
N
Hey Sean,
I'm still waiting for another Black Flag Profile with mixed Sm57 & 121.....Your Profile is still my fav Marshall and I've replaced all my sig rigs with it.....
still outstanding, so any news ????..
cheers
N
Dude....wtf that profile is awesome.....
with the 121, gain slightly turned down, a treble booster (tone -3,0) in front - kills me and my LP.
Brilliant, that will be a sleepless night - thanks a lot 8|.
Can't wait for the next one..... great work!!!!!!
cheers
N
Well it's not that specific JB sound as he uses so many components mixed to his sig sound - AND his hands. I've seen him on tour actually playin SLs with Marshall (Celestion??) Cabs.
I guess it's more like Garrincha's post:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9vJxesLAHc
Or Bernie Marsden with his incredible Beast:

I don't know which amp he's playin on that video - but that kind of sound is like molten gold (< ooops Koss around ).
cheers
N
Well, a "slightly breaking up 68 Plexi" profile would be the kicker for the KPA. A friend of mine has a reissue but unfortunately the wrong cab . I can't dial in that sound and don't have enough experience to profile...
BTW the "not too shabby" guitar was played by JBonamassa at two gigs in Europe (Stuttgart and London), if you like it - hurry up!!!
cheers
