I would love this feature so that I can record a DI signal via monitor out while being able to hear stereo out with effects.
EDIT- Or can I accomplish this with the direct out? nevermind

These flat out rock. That might be the jcm800 style amp I've heard on here yet. Guaranteed a few people will find their "go to" greenback cab In one of these as well. Can't get over the budda either, sounds incredible

Glad they are working so well for you. Definitely save the cabs and try them on other rigs. They work really well on just about anything.

I have been profiling over the coarse of a few months during downtime in my studio. Let me know how you like them. I took my time multi miking and used great mics and mic pres in a treated room until I was happy with the results. I did some final EQ sweetening monitoring through an Atomic CLR.
I am accepting donations however there is obviously no obligation. My paypal is [email protected]
Donors will receive 2 additional profiles of 1 of these 3 amps via email of the amp of their choosing.

I had to chime in and say as KPA owner who is also an Axe Fx user (both generations), the KPA wah wipes the floor with the competition. It's every bit as good if not better than my crybaby too. Wish I could say I felt the same about the distorion stomps but maybe someday it'll get there for me.

Wood Floors! Maybe this is my issue. I'm only using one mic, but maybe the room is too bouncy?
Even with one mic, the profiling process does not favor a lot of ambience. If you can find a decent size rug to thrown down it will help. I have found the more I deaden the reflective sounds in the room, the clearer and more defined the profiles sounded. Ambient spaces seem to smear the profiled sound. I think this has something to do with how the profiling process samples at various volumes and plays back- causing various profiled reflections to be out of phase. (I have no data to back that up though)

And here I was looking for fried chicken.

Are there a lot of hard surfaces where you are profiling? I have found that profiling in an untreated (ambient) space can wash out a profile and cause phase problems.

That's how guerrilla marketing works. You are to think there is just this guy, excited, who promotes the product. Gets you also interested in it. Sorry to pop your marketing innocence cherry.
Then please explain why so many of us non beta testers like posting clips for fun. Actually don't. I don't care to debate this.

Scott strikes me as a guy that is just really excited by the Axe Fx. Fractal is not a huge company. They really don't need to pay people to be excited. Heck if I had the access to the firmware before anyone else I would post clips for fun too.

About stereo source I think it would be cool for people who wants to expand their sound not necessarily using stereo but using several tones such as a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier + Marshal JCM 800 + ... To do this the KPA should also be able to mix several profiles.Do you know if there's a thread about "playing different profiles at the same time" ? If it's not, it would be interesting to create it, wouldn't it ?
Big +1

And while we're at it, let's make the reverb slot open to other effects for those of us who never use reverb live.
-
That was really cool. It would be great if you could tag the parts of the file with the names of each pedal when they change.

The Axchange has been around for years. it was shut down for a while for what I'm assuming was for upgrade purposes.

This is great. Thanks!

Updated to 1.6 with 1076 profiles no problems.
