The problem I have is it's not just replacing, it's actually deleting that rig, and replacing it with the new profile, while somehow merging the effects. I don't want to delete and replace anything, so this has me very puzzled.

I apologize if this has been covered. The search wouldn't generate it.
Every time I profile an amp, it replaces the rig in the 4th bank on Performance mode. I had that bank set for my acoustic rig, but now it's a 65 Bassman, but with the effects from the acoustic rig. Curiously enough, when I'm in "PROFILER" mode and begin storing my new profile name, it shows the info of the rig I'm (apparently) writing over. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Well, Kemper offers looping today, as well as a year ago. It wasn't hopeful, it was advertised.
-
They gave the looper its own button on the remote and flaunted the feature prior to the controller's release. Yet over a year later, there's still no looper mix in the menu. I write them and they tell me it's very doable, but not a priority. Not gonna lie, it kind of pisses me off.
-
Bump. Did Kemper ever add a looper volume?
-
It is completely unusable live! That's the main reason I bought the remote was for looping, and there isn't a simple loop level setting anywhere. Kemper, please, please fix this asap. This control was to expensive for these oversights.

Paranormal Activity 1) While playing on stage, the Kemper (running the latest firmware) has decided to turn the master volume all the way down whenever it feels like it. I can turn it back up to the same level and get nothing, but upon turning it up and down really fast, it remembers it's job. I caught it doing it this morning and actually witness the master volume display work it's way down pretty quick.
Paranormal Activity 2) Typically while playing single note solos live, the Kemper has starting kicking in the reverb whenever it feels like it. And because the GCP is always getting the CC flipped upside down, I have to punch 3 times to turn it off.
Please, people of Kemper, help. I've been impressed with the tone since day one, but I'm about ready to throw it in the lake.

Mine are locked and they still require 2 or more stomps to activate

Yes. I bypassed my pedal board, tried cables, different rigs, etc. It doesn't do it through a normal amp
-
The Kemper gang needs to get this under control before releasing new products. What good is a rackmount Kemper if we're having the same midi issues with those. C'mon Kemp. I've been patient, but I gotz work and this russian roulette switching doesn't cut the mustard.

After the 1.6.0 update, the Kemper seems to be cutting out primarily on the b string of my tele. Here's a clip. Anyone else?
Kemper Cutting Out -
I have a Graphtech Ghost bridge installed in one of my guitars. It works brilliantly through amps, but when I plug it into the front of the Kemper, it sounds like the battery is dying. When I engage a pedal it goes to full volume and sounds right, but it doesn't work straight in with no effects on. I tried a TRS cable thinking that the Kemper was possibly trying to process the stereo jack differently, but the problem remains and it's unique to the Kemper. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Interesting, very practical. I'm looking for something like that. I use my kemper at home most of the time but sometimes is necessary for me to have a bag when I want to carry my unit somewhere.
Yeah, tackle bags aren't the cheapest thing on the market, but I wanted something well built to protect the investment. My main concern has been knocking a knob off.
That looks great! What modifications did you have to make to the zipper doors?
Thanks,
Brian
Thanks so much. There's a net than ran along the bottom of the opening as well as 2 nylon straps that kept the door from folding all the way down. I just took a razor blade and very carefully cut it all away without doing any damage to the structural stitching. Nothing too scientific, just an idiot with a razor, lol. -
Mine actually came with a 2 prong. I just noticed I threw the wrong one in there.

Whoops, I missed this (didn't have to look far) http://kemper-amps.com/forum/i…page=Thread&threadID=3053 Anyway, this should suffice until I can get the real thing.

So I needed a way to transport the Kemper and keep it safe. I'm not on the road, but I do carry my gear to local studios often. I didn't want something cumbersome like a road case that would tear up my car's interior, so I measured the Kemper and headed off to Wal-Mart. With some modifications to the zipper doors and the addition of some sonex in the bottom, I was able to create a bag where the Kemper can live and be used without removal. It's a Plano FTO Elite tackle bag. There's space on the sides where the vents are located so the KPA doesn't suffocate. You guys at Kemper may already be working on a case, but this basic design seems to fit the bill.

This is fantastic news. That's the only thing it lacks to be the most powerful recording tool I've ever encountered.

Good Lord, I should've known we'd end up looking at Pythagorean theorem and the effect it has on time/space continuum. I'm hyper sensitive to latency. I can feel when the computer bogs down and I'd bet everything I own there's more latency here than a mic'ed amp. If I buy a Porsche Carrera GT advertised to do 0-60 in 3.6 seconds, and I get it and it does it in 4.6 consistently, that's still a fast car. But I have to decide if it's worth the $440,000 I paid.

Got the Kemper in yesterday. The tone is astounding. I'm noticing a very subtle latency on the pick attack. It's not bad, but it's there. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there anything I can do to resolve it?
