That's a great idea Guido. Would be nice to have someone walk you through some of these things, like setting up performances etc...

I totally get you. Every time I pick up my Tyler, which has a baseball bat of a neck, it feels like coming home! :-DEven so, the Charvel GG is one of the most comfortable necks I've played on. It makes me play better!
and don't get me wrong, if I was lucky enough to own one, I'd make the neck work. It's a heck of a guitar!

I don't like wide necks either, and I don't feel the Charvel GG has a wide neck. It's nowhere near a JEM, and actually feels very much like my Custom Shop '69 strat. Just my opinion, of course.
Nice, you must have had them do something special in the neck, as the GG Charvel is unlike any strat neck I've ever played. It's not as wide as a Ibanez neck for sure, but I prefer more rounded necks. The Suhr Even C being the perfect fit for me.

The guitar is really awesome and well thought out. I really enjoyed the flatter fret board, but didn't care for the wide neck. I like big necks, but not wide ones if that makes any sense.

My fav XTC profiles are definitely Guido's.

I'd have to say BM's Marshall in the 2nd pack. TAF's jcm800 mod, MB's 69 & 70. I like Guido's JTM also. The Top Jimi profiles have never worked for me. They are either way too shrill or by changing the definition, they lose their magic. That's just my experience, but everyone's is different and so is their gear.

Email received, can't wait to try them!

I love the necks on those... I like a thicker neck that just fits like a glove. Gratz!

I'll be picking these up shortly for sure. Can't wait to try them. Appreciate Dr. Z embracing the Kemper community

Much better sounding reverb and extras like spring, cloud, bloom, shimmer, plate etc... The true test will be when the reverb gets updated on the Kemper. To also add, the new delay updates were a great step in this direction.

Nice playing Guido. I've always liked that profile too. I have it as one of my favorites.

To add, I think it's also about perception. If in your head you are thinking that tube amps are the end all, you are going to be more excited and inspired when playing versus going digital and having a bias that digital stinks.
I think those bias's we have a huge effect. For me, not having the money to buy multiple tube amps, spending money on new tubes and maintenance and also having the space to have speaker cabs setup, makes the Kemper the perfect solution for me. If I can get 90% of the way there with good profiles, I'm happy with that, because at the end of the day, your typical listener won't know and give two craps about it (*unless you are in a band known for gear etc...)

Gratz on 5 years Andy!

I'd love to try a Strandberg too. I'm pretty sure I'd love it, but I'm a bit worried about the neck and ordering without playing it first. Awesome guitar Nightlight!

A gooden! Enjoyed it!

I love these, thanks for doing them! A couple of clips, the amps sounded darn close to each other. It'll be interesting to know which was which.

Guido's XTC and Dr Z Maze are just phenomenal!
I third that... the xtc is just great and the Maze sounds really good with my strat...

Welcome! There is a good few of us here that came over from the 11r. I still have mine as a backup and actually prefer the reverb in the 11 haha.
I'm sure you'll love your Kemper!

Welcome! I can't help too much with profiling, but where are you located? I'm in Austin and we have some other Texans here too.
