The link doesn't seem to be functioning. It flashes up the option to pick up the rig pack, then that disappears and is replaced by a link to the new firmware. Anywhere else to access this rig pack?
You first have to select "Rig Packs' in the drop down list called "category" and then you'll see it.Hope this helps!

Absolutely fantastic! Kudos!!!

See this thread were I described how I am arranging access to single factory rigs for myself: Clarification needed: are factory rigs part of the chaos.bin and there to be found only
Maybe it helps!?Cheers,

It's really not complicated at all! You should give it a try. And like I said you just need to do that once and from then on you have access to all factory rigs but you can chose to load just one or two on your KPA without the need to restore them all again!
Well you could always need an empty backup for creating a new factory presets set once they change in a later firmware or you could use it to start all over again if your KPA gets too full (starting empty and adding just the rigs you use might be much quicker than deleting 800 rigs which you don't use ), ...

Faced the same issue.
Here's what I did:
- Take any backup of the KPA and use Total Commander (PC only!) to delete all rigs from it (takes appr. 10 seconds ;-)). Save this backup somewhere under 'EmptyBackup' or similar. It's always handy to have an empty backup available.
- Re-Import this backup into the KPA and restore the factory rigs from the system menu (IMPORTANT: before you do this make sure that you have backed-up your KPA, so that you can restore it afterwards!!!)
- Make a backup of your KPA and save it on your PC under a name like e.g. 'Factory Rigs Only'.
- Now you have a backup with all factory rigs and whenever you need one or two you just access this backup with Total Commander copy the rigs on your USB drive and import them onto the KPA.
- Restore the KPA back to the state it was in before this exercise. That's about 5 mins effort once in order to create your Factory Rigs Only backup but it's well worth it!!
Hope this helps!

Sure, sorry forgot to mention that step. After deleting the rigs in Total Commander you just take that backup file and restore it on your KPA. No need to unpack and repack it or similar as Total Commander can work directly on the backup file!

If you are on a PC I can highly recommend 'Total Commander'! With this you can easily access KPA backups as if they were regular folders, select the rigs you don't want anymore and then just delete them. I do it this way regularly and find it to be the quickest method of all.
Hope this helps!

Well I would say it just felt better. I had the impression that I could hear myself much better against the band and it just sounds a bit closer to the sound and feeling of a real guitar cabinet. Also with gainier sounds and higher volume I always felt the RCF was a bit 'fizzy' sounding. I had the feeling this is also better with the DXR.
And finally I had the impression the sound is a bit more even and less dependent on my position relative to it.
Not to forget that the build quality seems to be one step above the RCF!Cheers,

You could try to calibrate your expression pedals. You can find a description on how to do this e.g. here: http://www.voes.be/fcb1010/pdf…20expression%20pedals.pdf
Also you could install any Midi Monitor tool on your PC, connect your FCB to it and check what it's actually sending when you move your expression pedal.
Hope this helps!

Quick update from my side:
Tested the DXR 10 yesterday at rehearsal for the first time in a real life band situation. I have to agree with what most others wrote. The hiss is absolutely no issue with volumes in the still bearable range (for this I had the volume control of the DXR on just around 40%!! It can really get insanely loud!). The sound was just fantastic and a quite a step above the RCF 310A I've been using so far (anyone wants to buy one? ).
So it will definitely stay!Cheers,

All Wah Effects (and I assume you are talking about the "Wah Low Pass" effect here?) are controlled by cc#1. So it definitely should work!
Have you used the regular Wah with your FCB successfully yet or is it the first time you are trying this? If yes you first might have to calibrate the pedals of your FCB.Regards,

I got this http://www.thomann.de/gb/skb_sc2709.htm
That's what I use as well. Does its job very well.Cheers,
