I'd go Merged.
If I'm browsing through profiles its a pain to have to go and select a separate cab for Studio or Direct ones
Right on! Which versions do you have? Toaster? Rack? Glad to hear you haven't needed the backup!
Thanks
I have 2 toasters.I put a Ritter power section into mine because Kemper didnt make a powered version back then
Also, welcom eto the Forum !!!
I've been using the Kemper for every gig I've done since February 2012.
At one point I got worried and bought a 2nd KPA in case anything happened KPA 1.
I've never had to use my backup KPA and use it purely for recording at home with my other left in the van.
If anything does happen I have a duplicate set of gig profiles on a usb stick 1that I can load onto KPA 2 but .......as I said , I've never had an issue
Welcome to the club !
Like Zappledan said, Load RigManager onto your PC/Mac, download profiles to there and then transfer directly to Stage from the Rig Manager....
You'll figure it ....
More importantly , Welcome to the group !
Ernie Ball Stainless Steel due to Nickle Allergy
Welcome Jonathan.
What profiles have you started using for the archtop ?
I disagree BT. think 'theplayer' is right in trying to cover both parts.
You could play it with intervals but not easy. Also, intervals with distortion wouldn't have the clarity that the KPA harmoniser on single notes would have I would think.
The audience will still like to hear the harmony, as on the original.
Anyway, the guitar parts arent the hard thing on that track.....THE VOCAL IS !
If that is the case you could do the outro with 4 profiles, each one set at the next harmony up along the scale but it would mean stepping on pedal 2,3 & 4 for the outro.
From what I remember, the main melody moves up as well with the hearmony a major 3rd above? Am I wrong ?
Hank has come up a few times in the Forum over the years. You should do a search and see what other users have chatted about .
Also,welcome to the Forum !!!
what guitar and lead profile?
I can hear Donald singing ! Lovely tune, sound and above all playing Mats
I remember getting some 3rd party early 70's Big Muffs that could be imported to work as pedals about 10 years ago....never saw any more of that since though
Welcome along ! ( bring lots of good profiles )
