Hi all,
I made a comparison of one riff going through 10 different Celestion speakers and glued it together in a 110 seconds video.

Hi all,
I made a comparison of one riff going through 10 different Celestion speakers and glued it together in a 110 seconds video.

I bought this one a while back and I was looking for a great analog delay pedal, since I didn't own one yet. I'm also not the kind of guy that wants to buy a sh*tload of pedals so I went for what sounds great so I just have to invest one time. I A/B compared this one with a MXR Carbon Copy in the shop and the AD-9 Pro was better in my experience. It just has great mids, which makes it sounds just a little smoother/warmer to my ears.
Anyway, I made a small demonstration video of this pedal for those that are interested in getting one:
For those interested, I demonstrated 11 different Celestion speakers, one every Sunday.
This is the last one in the series.
If you'd like to see the rest of them, you can find em on my channel.
Anyway, this is the G12H-75 Creamback speaker.
Imo, I slightly prefer the M-65 Creamback, which sounds a little bit more modern (and I play a lot of high gain)
But the G12H-75 Creamback is a little bit more vintage voiced, which is actually great for clean/crunch, but don't get me wrong, high gain sounds great too.
Any Creamback speaker users here?
Actually the newer Neo Creamback is quite good too.
This is the demonstration I made for this speaker:
Cleans are quite different, but the high gain is really close.
I think with a little bit more tweaking they can sound as good as identical.
Anyone interested in some free profiles of this speaker?
T-75 and M-65 Creamback have been added, next Sunday is the Celestion Cream.
Lynchback demonstration has been added to this thread.
This used to be a Neo demo thread, but I've changed the title.
I will add a new demonstration every week.
If you like my effort, feel free to subscribe or give my movies a thumbs up, I appreciate it!
These are the ones coming soon:
Celestion Vintage 30 (mesa)
Celestion Creamback H-75
Celestion V-Type
Celestion A-Type
Celestion H30 anniversary edition
Celestion Neo Creamback
The demo has clean, crunch and high gain tone, so I hope it satisfies all sorts of guitar players. Both a band setup 'in the mix' and 'raw guitars only' demonstration.
Celestion Lynchback
The Lynchback is a modern sounding speaker, great for high gain but somewhat darker than most speakers.

Made a video to test the Fulltone OCD and see if I can use the pedal for high gain purposes instead of crunch/overdrive.
I think the result is not bad, but it lacks when it comes to how it feels.
Actually reminds me of the times I had marshall amps (which I personally don't like for high gain)
Still, I think people that don't own a typical tube amp such as a 5150/mesa rectifier and want to have a high gain sound now and then, this might be an option.
I made a comparison of 11 Celestion speakers. No post processing (not even lowpass/highpass) to give the fairest representation of how they sound.

Hi all,
Since I was going to insert some acoustic foam in my 1x12 I thought why not make a small comparison of open back vs closed back vs closed back treated with foam.
Here's the result:
What do you think of the difference?
Here's the final video that shows you which speaker is which:
Hey guys,
I'm currently showing a preview of one of my YouTube video's where you can hear 8 different Celestion speakers compared.
Celestion will be giving away some swag if you can guess which speakers you're hearing.
You can post your answer at their Facebook page, search for "Celestion high gain comparison preview":

Made a comparison of these speakers, what do you guys think?
Compared the H-75 with the M-65 and tried some different sounds, from clean to high gain.

I made a second Celestion speaker comparison video, I hope you guys like it.
(I made a Kemper profile pack of all these sounds http://tecksmusic.bigcartel.co…uct/celestion-kemper-pack)
The cabinet is a 1x12 own made cab, but I'm pretty satisfied with how it sounds.
