Welcome my good man!
Ill beat that by 13 years! But the Kemper has put a new profile on my age. Im just beginning to rock.
Most of us are around that age so I dont feel lonely at all.
@db - Surely you mean Michelangelo, not Picasso it'll be done when it's done...
Anyhow, tot he OP they've only just finished up NAMM, give them a chance to catch their breath (and maybe take a short break to recharge the old batteries). I'm sure they'll be back soon enough.
heheheheheheheh luvit!!!
Ever since 1.6 I don't seem to be able to raise the input volume ( using the Clean Sense or Distortion Sense) Previously I had to normally lower eaither one ( mainly the Clean Sense) to avoid red clipping and to then adjust so that the light would only be slightly orange when corrected.
Is it me or.......... me?
Life changer!
Imagine living without it!!!!
I have come across this post about the KPA on a HM forum... it dates Jan, 2011
Brilliant!!! . Having been on the planet for close to 64 years now I have had the great privilege of owning a few dozen tube amps in that time since the 60s and I can almost be assured that the postee is now a proud owner of a KPR! My studio is now a place I can move around in without justification and I definitely PLAY more than I have ever before ( thats one thumbs up for this lunch box!)
Armin: check the Master settings, specially the ones of the output you're using at the moment. Adding a bit of presence on the output eq should get you back to where you were without changing the Rigs
I had to readjust the Master outputs as they were in the minus. Maybe its there somewhere?
Something is wrong, mine sounds maybe (probably not) clearer and not at all worse.. better if anything.
Ill second that. If anything its clearer and more defined. But then again............ different parts of the world
You could be quite near....
Thats the beauty of this damn thing......... its not like you have to buy another piece of gear ........... you just have to wait until the new one arrives!
Honestly, it almost seems unbelievable, that one has no Kemper, but is able to condense this absolut perfect piece of work.
Rather than asking CK to gift a new toy, why do not we the KPA community donate the Kemper to Mr. wiKPA? I think he deserves this. Let us find a charity/donating option on the net and let have us viabcroce have his unit.
gianfranco doesnt have a Kemper Profiler? Thats amazing! If I didnt live so far away I give him one!! Where can we donate?
+10
That`s true and human and 100% in most books!! Its like driving somewhere without a map. Can be great fun but it`s possible to veer off the road this way
I also have read the manuals and wiKPA a few times and feel the same way. Maybe I need KPA For Dummy's
Please don't assume all of know and understand even the very basics. The problem is when someone says "Read the manual" or "It's in the manual", it makes me feel stupid and afraid to ask questions. Personally, I have a fear of digital devices. I'm always afraid I'm going to screw something up.
Spot on mate. Maybe there is a Quick Button on the KPR that says Reset Ego........?
..along with some other stuff

I'ts been a while since I played guitar. Hope it all comes back to me!
Its a surety that the Kemper will get you playing a lot more than you were . It took me from a position of "on / off" before I owned one to a position of "always on"now that I have one.!!! Turn on.... tune in.. and drop in!
I know most of you are thinking I'll end up loving the KPA and keeping it. But let's say I want to return it before my 30 day trial period is up. Should I go ahead and register the KPA, or wait to make sure I'm keeping it? I'm not sure what Musicians Friend policy is on registering the KPA and then returning it. What about Kempers policy on registration transfers?
Show me there is something better and Ill look. Dont think so though!
I need only two things:
1) Higher internal sampling rate to get rid of the artifacts
2) Browse and play profiles direct from the usb stick
Precisely Armin!
Hm, thanks God it' s a matter of taste.
Great playing - but that kind of music isn't definitely not my cup of tea.
Thats cool......... but excuse me for asking ... what genre of music is that?
Too many loud sessions? I was just kidding.
Alls good no problem. I wasnt antagonistic I hope. Like Mr Nugent my too loud sessions in the past have blanketed my hearing somewhat and my brain as well it seems. I dig all of you guys and you have made this forum what it is. Only the Kemper counts....................... From the edge of the planet down here ....... cheers!
BTW: Pls. unlock the bold! No need to boost your writing output
Its my personal preference when I communicate. I do it in speech as well. Its not important to the context of the subject in question.
