That's not the right approach. That's the same as taking a feed of a microphone in front of a Champ from the mixing desk and feeding it into the guitar input of a Marshall.
But no, i turned off the speaker.

Well I did try the reverse, using the Kemper with a Champ profile into a Marshall. It did get somewhat closer but still not really. Boo!
Huh, parallel path eh? I haven't used that before. Where abouts do I find it?
So yeah, Tried the Fuzz into a Champ profile. It gets close but its not right. Tried some clean amps, maybe close but not right still. Im surprised there is no tube style OD pedal.
Well.. haha I want to achieve tones like this:
(2) Big Sugar - Round And Round (For CJ) - YouTube
The (pre-amp) he uses is a Garnet Herzog which is a 5w 6V6 overdrive amp/preamp thing for lack of a better word. Usually into a big clean amp. I'm having a HELL of a time getting anything even close to this tone.
It's actully similar to running a Fender Champ with a line level speaker tap into the front of another tube amp.
I can't seem to find this effect if it exists. Does anyone have any advice? I want to run in a stomp section.
Maaaan, here I am 8 years later, and would love this profile!!!!
Hey y'all. I'm pretty out of the loop on Kemper functionality these days.. had my firmware 5 years old! Updated all of that and I find myself trying to recreate the Rocktron Intelliverb Octopus chorus patch. Since I am a n00bie, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to achieve this glorious sound?
Thanks for any help!!
A TON of profiles are too hot for a simple Seymour Duncan JB.. I don't really get why but it's super easy to adjust distortion sense. Also adjust clean sense. Again I don't know why but it seems to effect the roll off/ trailing distortion even with distorted profiles.
This is what happens to my tone when my distortion sense is too high for my pickup / guitar. Try -7 on that control.
Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/TROND-B…1&keywords=bluetooth+send
You will need APT-X low latency Headphones. Just plug that device into the headphone jack, DONE!
For me it was also being able to audition amps I would never get to try in person. That and the realization the cabinet is more than half the tone. Amazing!
I think the lower gain clip sounds fuller, and has better mids.. BUT your bass tone is weak. I think if you added a little more rumble it might bring the guitar out more.
Les Paul Gold top with P90s. Marshall JMP.
So what ended up being the fix?
There is no legal requirement to sharing profiles in USA. You cannot patent a sound (as of yet).
That sounds like a neck pickup. Fairly normal I'd say overall for a warm pup in that position.
